      That, or what you get when you let an unhealthy breed of MBAs and bean counters run an engineering company for their and friend’s short term profit.

    Let us not forget deregulation. The airline industry will save money wherever possible to make a buck, and they did the math on this type of quality control. In other words, it’s Boeing along with every single Boeing customer.
