I’ve really been enjoying it here. I didn’t post much on Reddit because most everything I would want to say had already been said and often better than I could have phrased it, plus being disabled it often hurts to type too much, where as here I think there is plenty of room for new voices and figure at least my comment will be read.

I think I’ll spend a good amount of time leaving comments of the comment less cat & dog pics. Everyone’s pet deserves an awww, and it can be done with short comments since I tend to ramble. If you, uh, couldn’t tell lol shrugs shoulders

I was fairly pleased with the activity over the first week, but all of a sudden I am seing a lot of communities that have now been inactive for days.

All Reddit had to do was hold out and people’s desire to be given endless content they didn’t have to contribute towards would win out.

I’ll be sticking around as I like the selfhosted nature of ActivityPub, plus we may see another boon on the 1st of July.
