    It was clear from the beginning that many moderators will make zero efforts to migrate to solutions like Lemmy, and instead will masochistically cave in to Reddit.

    Why? Because on Lemmy they’ll no longer be the moderator - most popular communities have been created already, and moderators have overall less control of the platform.

    So instead of migrating, growing, taking the chance to move into a better position… They protest for half a second and as soon and Reddit gives the slightest hint they might lose their position they reopen.

    Sad to see /r/Apple, one of Apollo’s birthplaces, also become one of the first to chicken out. Congrats to the mods for having a spine more fragile than my 2 week old tomato plant.
