“We consistently evaluate our games portfolio and status of our projects to ensure we are meeting near and long-term business priorities,” PlayStation Studios CEO Hermen Hulst said. “As part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen SIE’s Studio Business, we have had to make a difficult decision relating to two of our studios – Neon Koi and Firewalk Studios.”
I wonder how much debt Sony offloaded onto them before shutting them down.
At least $400m lol
oh damn, not even a rework
this really crashed and burned in record timei kinda expected a free to play rework with overpriced skins and a pointless battlepass before they shut down for good.
Shame, really. The game looked fun at least
I’m surprised they didn’t even try f2p
I’ve seen F2P shuffled to other devs in the past, namely APB: Reloaded. They’ll work on it quietly and then suddenly “Corcord 2.0 coming summer 2026!”
