I’ve been at my job for a year and noticed that my job description is woefully inaccurate and doesn’t account for even half of what I do. When I brought this up to my boss he kind of danced around it and sent me the job requirements from LinkedIn, which to be fair were more accurate. I’m so confused and frustrated though. The job description is supposed to be a clear reflection of what I do, is it not? I’m finding this messy and unprofessional.
