There’s a DRM video player(won’t tell you the name as it’s only a domestic software in non-English speaking country) that prevents recording by literally any means I can think of.

These are the methods that does not work

  • Using screen recorder: DRM software force kills all the softwares related to screen recording/sharing. It goes completely black if you try to do with some niche software.

  • Using VM: DRM software detects VM and force stops

  • Using Video capture card: it is somehow blocked. I do not know any specific detail

  • Using yt-dlp: It’s using it’s own proprietary software and I failed to get the url of the video.

Any possible solutions I might be missing out on?

Spoofing the VM so it doesn’t report as a VM is possible, albeit difficult and what works for one app, might not work for the other.
