The charity British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) said one female was found with a vaginal prolapse and it suspected that the whole pod was stranded after one whale suffered birthing complications.

“Pilot whales are notorious for their strong social bonds, so often when one whale gets into difficulty and strands, the rest follow,” BDMLR said.

    Damn that’s sad.

This is ridiculous and sad. Cheers to the helpers who managed to get a few of them back into the ocean. It breaks my heart to know the majority just stranded and died on the beach.

What the heck is going on with the whales lately? Is it just climate change confusing them?

Some cycles are weeks or months. Not that the tide doesn’t come and go, but they may need a super tide, which as said, may be weeks or months away.

Ok it says they found them Sunday morning, and this article came out today, so we can guess they hopefully waited one day to try?
