Miracle it wasn’t cancelled in the current landscape
Seems almost universally praised from what I’ve seen. With the loss of DSC, I can’t see them dumping another show with nothing in the works.
I think it’ll probably get five seasons, but I wouldn’t hold my breath beyond that.
If it doesn’t get at least as many as Discovery I’ll be incredibly sad
If the actors’ contracts are for 7 calendar years but production is stretched out as is has been due to the pandemic and the strike, it’s hard to see how more than 5 seasons are possible without severe escalation in labour costs for US talent.
Yeah. soon we’re going to have SNW and Prodigy? That’s not so bad, I guess. I’ll miss LD…
The Academy series remains on track to start filming this summer.
Starfleet Academy series is also in production.
