I wouldn’t call them leftist, as their views are too pro authoritarian. They more branched off in a different direction that sometimes looks more right than left.
Also not a free trial if you have to give them your credit information beforehand. That’s the red flag that prevents me from proceeding with free trials.
Cool article but I think they need a huge NASA like chamber for emulating Mars surfaces conditions, with air, pressure, radiation, and soil conditions. Getting anything, even bacteria to live in those emulated conditions would be huge news.
There is a big streaming scene on various platforms, people doing it as a full time job. They are roleplaying, which is popular with a bunch of 3rd party mods to support it. This probably contributes to the longevity of the game.

I think this is part of it. If the speed of light is the speed limit of matter, it would be very difficult to travel anywhere within reasonable amount of time considering norminal life spans of even the longest living things on Earth.
The DnD aspect made the combat worse than Divinity’s Original Sin’s combat. DnD is probably fine on table top setting, but as a video game, it’s terrible. Auto/normal attacking was the strongest build in BG3…
I play it a little from time to time and it’s gets boring quick. Doing the same meta events uncountable amount of times isn’t exciting. Also the lack of RPG progression has drawbacks, but great for casuals. The power creep is just buffing classes, some can generate all the boons in the game. Adding new maps every expansion/update spreads out the player base, an old mmo problem, making the game look more dead than in the past.
The great attractor. It’s the biggest object we known of, but actually know almost nothing about. and it’s in a spot that’s hard to see through, our galaxy’s center. Almost everything we see in the sky is heading towards that point, hence the name.
Doctors are people too and can make mistakes, but they are highly educated (hopefully through accreditation) and depending how long they have been in practice, experienced. That being said, online educational sources can help get you started if you suspect something is wrong, but don’t try to do a doctor’s work from online research. This includes asking Lemmy/reddit advice.
It’s the radical moderators and developers of Lemmy that censor and delete posts and comments that fit their narrative. They are trying to foster authoritarian views and perpetuating lies (like tiananmen square didn’t happen, or Ukraine invaded russia). It’s a big mess that causes problems when people voice opposing views or even sourced material and get censored and banned. Using Lemmy feels like we have to accept their cooked views. I’m hoping there will be a fork or new federation project that doesn’t have baggage. Many moved here because of the reddit bs, and now there is extreme communism baggage.
It wouldn’t be too hard to go through every archived game and determine if it’s still available through corporate means or not. Those are the ones that are threatened to be erased forever if corpos get their way. The biggest problem is the money and means to fight against corporate goons and lawyers.
I just installed this today, and saw all the communications from google apps are going to Canada, which surprised me.
Both probably give the same exact water at the same temp.
OP wants no control of his eyes and computer and wants to give that control to corpos.
In my opinion, there is no democracy without the public being able to protest. If the powers that be are not making decisions or actions of the people, for the people, how are they to know how upset they are; unless the powers don’t care and send tanks or armed forces to squash disgruntled protesters.
Even if you disagree with the protesters, you should allow them to voice their grievances publicly, otherwise you don’t actually want a democracy, imo. I see so many uncaring takes or indifferent takes, it’s the silent insidious part of humanity, like a cop watching a crime happen but don’t want to get involved.
I see this on all platforms, even steam. Only the negative reviews are culled and labelled ‘review bombing’ by the corpos.
Sounds like growing pains.
If you are voting the opposite of the norm in your area, you are making a bigger impact than the reverse of the situation. Go by county and try to flip yours to blue. If it happens to flip, your vote counts 100%, otherwise you have at least tried and voted. Here is some links to check 2020 results by town or county.
