Black Isle Studios.
Hands down, no contest.
If you’re looking for a name, Chris Avallone. Planescape: Torment and fucking New Vegas.
I only have one tattoo, and it is the Rune of Torment. That piece of art touched me.

My expectations of Bethesda, since Oblivion, has been as a mod platform.
Gimme a new engine with updated graphics and great mod support and let the community does what it does best.
This does not apply to electronics. You want that 99% to leave as little moisture as possible.
I’ve thought of this, but don’t have the wherewithal to actually make a project come to fruition.
I’m also not a lawyer, but I’ve read multiple articles on this, and it doesn’t seem like any legal violation. Corporation got lazy, didn’t confirm where 10m in royalties went and under what circumstance, and got burned.
Finally a corp gets scammed by the common man.
I say good on him.
I was in band, and marching band was mandatory.
I did not try out, as I did not want to participate in that part of the band experience.
So I was part of the “front ensemble” which is shit you can’t march with. Timpani drums, etc.
We had an L frame rack with wheels that had all sorts of crap on it, half of it made in some garage before I joined.
We called it the ghetto rack.
I had a solo on what were essentially tanks that had the bottom cut off and an attachment point welded on top hung by rope.
So yeah, if you can hit it and make a sound, it becomes a percussion instrument.
Please don’t I barely understand subnetting as it is.
In the US, you can get varying dosages based on a variety of commercial factors.
That being said, 1000mg a dose not to exceed 4000mg in a 24 hour periods is the standard… well, was, its been a while since I was a pharmacy tech.
I have an analog clock in my man cave. Its very steam punk in design. It is NOT accurate and is ONLY a decoration piece that gets corrected when I can spare the attention. It runs fast, if anyone cares.
Ultimately, my wife liked it, bought it for me, and put it up. Not gonna upset her over something I really don’t care about.
I get that old reference, but these days and much more broadly, twink is for a term for a gay man with a certain body type, or other physical characteristics.
So you might get some odd looks using that in public.
I’m only on 11 because I want to learn it from a support perspective for work.
I am not enjoying it. I swear I have to reboot multiple times a day, against Win 10 which was only for updates… or linux, and basically never lol.
I will cheat in single player games. I give it a solid “first time” unmodded play through. If it’s good, I’ll do other “paths” or “builds” depending on the game.
Then make it a little more… interesting, or different even.
Then you work up to Total Conversions, and thats fucking great for longevity.
Then at a certain point, its quality of life. I don’t want to spend 20 hours getting to the “interesting” part of the game. I can no longer get even just an hour to dive into a game uninterrupted. I love immersion; in the past it was an unhealthy escape mechanism, now when I get it, its a breath of not dealing with my day to day shit for just a little bit. Life always gets in the way of living, at least the way we want or need to in the moment. But I digress…
But cheating in a multiplayer game really defeats the purpose of multiplayer. An unbalanced play field isn’t fun for anyone.
I’d like to see more games embrace a modding community. If you and a few friends want to play with mods A, B, D, and F, more power to you guys. Keep enjoying that game.
Just don’t force an imbalance on other people.
I was the SME over POS terminals in a past job.
Owners are often the biggest morons at the location.
Before that, I used the same basic software package at Subway because the owner couldn’t be bothered, and the manager, great lady, was not technically apt.
I was in grade school. Doing an experiment where we sliced off a section of fruit to put under a microscope.
My dumb ass, with a plastic butter knife, managed to get the worst cut my thumb has ever seen.
That thing was rough and ragged, and got infected and was a bitch to heal.
Just saying, with enough stupidity, you can really harm yourself with harmless objects, lol.
Pretty sure checking a post on their site, say for a BG3 build idea, doesn’t constitute abuse.
The powers that be sacrificed their only value, their user base, to make money quick. We’ll see how it plays out long term, but I’ve moved away from social media. My lemmy use is only on my desktop at this point, and I get precious little time at it, so most of it isn’t spent on lemmy.
In my state, with my employer, yes absolutely NSFW.
I don’t agree, just saying what the GOP leaning corpos are making rules of.
I have no idea what that means.
The article presumes it’s an issue with nudity or sex.
I don’t see anything from the developer stating that.
My first thought is the first witcher game was clunky as fuck.
They put out a third person action slasher with PG elements.
They built it on the Neverwinter removedhts engine.
It wasn’t made to work like that, at all. So yeah, it’s clunky and outdated.
I wish I had that option in a previous campaign.
We even had a rule set, if your character dies, you can reroll a new character. Same level. Gearing would be similar (in power, not the same gear).
I hated my character. Mechanically I just did NOT enjoy playing them.
Being a mentally ill character (GOO warlock, Cthulhuesque patron of madness, part of the pact) I turned to depression, fool hardy risks, etc. The DM just would NOT let that character die.
I just wanted to play a character that better fit the party and campaign. Having a “Face” character in a campaign with a stupid barbarian (both player and int score) that solved every problem with a great axe, and if there wasn’t a problem created one, was useless.
Got stopped by guards at the gate of a new town? Instead of just talking for 30 seconds, the party wound up jailed and forced into trial by combat. It didn’t end well. Then I (the host for every session, but not DM) changed jobs and schedules and no one else would host so it died.
Don’t work in medical IT.
It has been literally life and death before.
I don’t disagree. My last job was using winget to update some things. I raised the concept of trusting otherwise unknown updates, but I was pushed aside for the quick utility.
I’m only a student of cybersecurity, but I harshly judge my former “security expert” on far more than that.
Like fuck, the help desk has to install every patch, to every machine, through a spreadsheet?
No, deploy that shit from a server. Fuck.
In a way, I’m glad I left. In another way, I would really like a pay check again… and I moved to a well, tech illiterate state. Fuck me.
