99%. I just don’t answer Anonymous calls because nothing good comes from that.
But there was a time where I could not even answer unknown numbers because I was in some kind of spam database and got 5-10 calls a day. It went on for weeks and they changed the number every time. Simply hitting decline didn’t stop it. I ended up setting my phone to block all calls not in my contact list (while still looking into my caller list occasionally) and a few weeks later it stopped. Now I became more trustful again.
I don’t get calls often anyways.
Since XML can have attributes and children, it’s not as easy to convert to JSON.
Your JSON example is more akin to:
<address street_address="21 2nd Street" city="New York" ...></address>
JSON not supporting comments is a human rights violation
The whole experience of starting up my new (used) N64 for the first time on my blurry old CRT TV and see that huge 3D Mario face pop up that I could squeeze and pull. This was a truly magical console for me.
Many things. Stopped smoking, started eating healthier, cooking, doing sports, going to therapy, stopped hating myself, learning to handle my income appropriately so I don’t live credit to credit anymore, getting a dog (now my second) be nice to people and get nice back. All spread out over the last ten years since I had a breakdown when I turned 30.
One of my uncles is always extremely into collecting something but the topic is changing every few years. First it’s board games, then geocaching, then geocoins (a subset of geocaching), then it’s lego. Now it’s a soccer club but just the merch, he never talks about the players or games. He lives in a small apartment so he puts stuff in self storage or even in the basements of other family members… I guess it’s compensation for not achieving much in life but it makes that situation even worse.
Put everything I need to remember in calendar, reminders or just set a timer. Since I started doing that consistently I never forget anything.
Deal with things immediately if possible or schedule it. That also means cleaning the kitchen after I’m done eating or even while cooking.
Never close the door without me seeing the keys in my hands with my own two eyes. Even if I’m 100% sure they are in my pockets, I will pull them out again. I have locked myself out two times already, won’t let it happen again.
Weird. Netflix invests so much money into these shows and then gets stingy on the voice actors for the country of origin…
I saw that video, really liked it!
Especially comedy is very hard to synchronize for obvious reasons, which is why the jokes are often completely changed.
I don’t mind so much when voices are very different. When you don’t know the original it doesn’t really matter. Yes the general tone of the movie then changes a bit but it still works as long as you don’t compare. For the average viewer it’s good enough.
Did the German actors dub themselves? I can imagine this must be hard.
Blaming others for things going wrong doesn’t require thinking and being self reflecting.
Do you even care about movies if you don’t watch them in the original language?
To be honest I’m that guy. But I don’t judge anymore and German dubs are actually top notch compared to other countries. But it’s a tough decision for me to watch a new movie in German just so I can share it with someone else and I will comment on it once!
Nice! I still communicate daily with a small community who found each other in a paid forum of a gaming magazine 20 years ago. We also have meetups sometimes. Initially, when the forum dissolved we created our own little forum but switched to Slack at some point.
I prefer to write emails because then I have proof about everything that was said and I can take the time to think about my request. It could be very productive.
The reason I call anyways is because people are too lazy and stupid to read more than one sentence and then I have to repeat what they missed out the first time over and over until they answered everything.
I get angry when cars stop for me when I could easily and safely cross the street after they pass without me having to wait more than 2 seconds so why even bother pretending to be nice? But now they stop for me and I need to hurry up so they don’t have to wait too long and it stresses me out! Just drive, there is no law that says you should stop here for pedestrians! I can handle this myself.
At my previous bank the password had to be a 5 digit PIN code…
No arrays are not allowed. Attributes can only be strings. But the children are kind of an array.
