1 year agoYou can and should actually salt your steak several hours before cooking, leaving them uncovered in the fridge. Water will be drawn out, and then reabsorbed along with the salt. Dry the surface and salt again if desired right before cooking.
Point of note - it’s just ‘Ukraine’, not the Ukraine. ‘The Ukraine’ is a label used by those who see the nation as a region part of Russia. Small, but important thing I had to change when referring to it as well.
