If you like FFT check out Triangle Strategy. From the same Square studio that’s been doing these HD2D remakes. It has a lot of the same vibes but with some modern stat and environmental complexities.
They’ve been doing really great work. Their Dragon Quest III comes out next week with DQI+II next year. The president of Square hinted their next project is an HD2D Chrono Trigger. Which, needless to say, would be huge.

There are wide swaths of dt Manhattan that are completely empty rn. Floors and floors of high rises. A lot of them are on 10 year leases so they’re just being paid still while no one uses them but when they all go up it’s gonna be interesting.
The current corrupt mayor refused to rezone them for residential and did a big RTO campaign that fell flat. They’ll keep them empty even after rents end or try to figure out ways to rent whole floors to the mega rich. They’ll never convert them to normal housing as it will lower the value of their skyscrapers. Instead they’ll continue to lobby for RTO politicians to ensure businesses force back people to work in them.

I just got it on sale ($15 off on Uplay) and I gotta say I’m rather confused why it isn’t more popular. It’s not perfect, and combat is a little simple, but it’s exceptionally well written, the mini games are legit fun, and the world feels really fleshed out and authentic and the music is outstanding. The main theme sounds like a modern take on Williams it’s crazy good.
Tbh I haven’t even noticed the “AI” generated stuff it’s no different than procedurally generated content if not even more well weaved in the game. I dunno it’s just fun for me. Just change the settings to all hard and disable the assists and suggestions.
I dunno why but those highway exit designs look really elegant
Can’t wait for this, the duping mechanic for mobs turning on each other and terrain manipulation looks so freaking cool. Playing as Zelda saving Link is a fresh take and if the story is any good this could be a real sleeper classic for the franchise.
