On the other hand, learning to deal with people you dislike is a useful skill. If everyone segregates themselves into opposing factions there will never be any progress.

imho the best single volume book to understand American racism is ‘The Autobiography of Malcolm X.’
Obviously there are books with more historical facts and deeper analysis. But I think the way he depicts his own feelings and observations gives the reader a visceral understanding.

Any time you start a new treatment it’s a good idea to keep a log of how you feel.
Belize. Tiny country next to Mexico and Guatemala. I was there in August for scuba diving. Population under 200,000.
It’s British Commonwealth so everyone speaks English; has Mayan ruins and extensive caves; it’s next to the second largest reef system in the world and has fantastic scuba diving.
Putting the shortest word first sounds better.
‘Men and women’ is the usual order, as is ‘ladies and gentlemen.’
I’d go with modular first. imho
