God I know, Twitter is just the worst!
God I know, Twitter is just the worst!
Not a cent of it was my money.
Do you exit it with escape colon q bang?
I went looking for a picture of it today and got very confused when maps sent me to Australia. There is a rural locale in Australia, named after the battle - Australian soldiers fought in the battle, so that does make sense. What threw me is that the road in the Australian version has a curvature that is very similar to the pictures in the OP:
And yet, this is not the actual Passchendaele. That short circuited my brain for a few seconds this morning, imagining that it had just… never been rebuilt? Wait… part of WWII was fought in Australia? wtf?
Anyway, no. The real deal is in Belgium. It was rebuilt. Here it is (lol):
How weird is that?
I mean, this all sounds like shit, yes. But sometimes things are only a little bit shit and yet the answer is still “redesign the approach” (ie: start over).
There also is a Wikipedia article which I think is not written that well. And a lot of education material by churches or religious organizations which I did not cite for obvious reasons.
That’s because Christian apologists constantly brigade those articles.
Edit: lol, and downvote lemmy comments I guess
Oh god, I know all of these.
Also fuck Tim Kosse. Bundled Filezilla with malware and fucked up my machine in 2014. Had to reinstall Windows. I’ll never use it again.
I use WinSCP on Windows and Forklift on MacOS.
Nobody:
Russia: Imma turn every government in the world fascist!
What could go wrong?
What’s bullshit are the cherry-picked numbers on the chart and the jumpy x-axis.
Edit: Article here quotes McDonalds as stating the Big Mac is up 21% since 2019. Sources elsewhere say the sandwich price is actually down since both 2014 and 2019, so who knows. If anything, I would expect Subway to have a higher point on the graph than it does.
I went there too. I think you’re underselling the transporter. They acted like you were about to get on like a motion sim or something, lined everybody up on those rows in front of the doors, then everything went black, sparkles coming from everywhere, a giant rush of wind upward is what it felt like - very confusing - and then BAM, the lights came on and you were on the bridge of the Enterprise-D.
Hell of an effect and something I’ll never forget.
And Quark’s bar man. It was so cool.
C’mon guys. Escape, colon q bang. It practically exits itself.
I don’t honestly know if I’ve commented it before, but it sounds like something I would do! :) I’ve been a fan of them for a long time. 👍
Well, it’s certainly not to say that an air fryer is as good as deep frying in all circumstances, that’s definitely not the case.
But as far as these hash browns go - and I swear, I’m not being glib here - I literally cannot tell the difference between these things air fried and McDs. Like I have specifically gone and gotten McDs just to test the theory and I just can’t say that I find them any better at all.
Not to mention, even if there was a perceptible difference in flavor or texture or any of it - air frying is definitely marginally healthier, so in my book: a win for air frying.
But if you just plain disagree, I don’t mean to call you a liar. It’s just how I feel about it.
The difference is these patties aren’t just raw potato. They’re filled with oil and because of this, when you air fry them, the final product is damn close to McDonalds, I honestly can’t tell the difference.
You can buy 10 of them for less than McDonalds’ price for 1 ($3.42 versus $3.49).
Put one in an air fryer for 12 minutes at 350. What comes out is indistinguishable from the McDonalds version.
If you don’t have an air fryer, they can be had at Goodwill all day every day for around ten bucks.
Every Bethesda game since Skyrim (and arguably Skyrim, depending on who you talk to) has followed the exact same script: exponentially longer development time to shart out marginal graphics improvements, dumbed-down mechanics and vastly less engaging storytelling.
Up until Starfield I had managed to enjoy all of them for what they were (with modders’ help of course). But Starfield is so aggressively dull I had a free 30-day trial of Microsoft GPU and could only manage maybe a week of playing it on the cloud before I was literally too bored to bother.
Given Bethesda’s trajectory, I have to agree with you. ES6 is going to be pure shit.
Wow, you even corrected the fonts. Splendid work!
Scotch and soda.
Now they just need a Factory to create more Factories and they…
I apologize, this is Factorio, not Java.
I don’t feel like an oligarch.
