I am talking about reach and promotion, please read what i am writing. If i made an app for 14 year old yes, i would create my platform where they exist (discord and reddit) - if its a fully FOSS project for a mature audience, i’d go there to promote but not for exclusive use in platform. Reach at first is incredibly tough, the time you place doing all that is valuable as well.

Leave us alone OMG i understand you are purists but be realistic as well, you need to go where people are to advertise your project and reach. We can use discord for our projects without it meaning we aren’t for your general privacy.

The only reason i’d consider this is if the soundcard was premium with DAC and amp included. Otherwise that piece of junk brings nothing to the table. Yes this thing has it, but its nowhere near premium.

Agree. I am that 30 y o still living at home. Work full time, 2 jobs and STILL cannot afford a rent without it decimating me to the ground. Its nothing to do with my budget: i get close to 3k/mo yet if i try to rent some place, i will pretty much have only about 400/500 left a month…. In a european capital. What is the point of renting in these conditions? And yes i know rationally its possible with my salary but i choose its more fruitful to help parent and be able to save rather than live ln the verge every month without being able to do much.

Thanks a ton for that response, that K3 seems actually pretty good, i have no idea what good features are / should be, but i trust it is modern and works. One question does it have auto calibration? I read some are manual… would it do multi color / could i upgrade towards it? I prefer being able to do that rather than order and wait again…. How does it compare to the sovol i heard a lot about?

And the software. Can i customise it / control it through my homelab?

I think a cheaper start. I don’t mind things being a little tough. Unless the “easy start” is just 50-100 more but with same features. However if i can control a device from an open source app i vastly prefer that.

I didnt know i would want multi color so i will add that ob my list of wanted featuresz :) this looks pretty small the a1, would you know of something with bigger dimensions?
