Early access shouldn’t be for games still in alpha state. Closer to beta is when it should be used.
This was the exact joke used on the show Shrinking. Where Harrison Ford had no idea what its true meaning meant and would use it in some questionable situations until eventually someone had the balls to tell him what it really meant. It wasn’t a great show but it was ok sometimes.
That’s me this month… officially running out of money and all avenues of emergency funds. I realized it yesterday and still processing what my next move is to survive. Both my wife and myself have decent jobs but just can’t make ends meet anymore. Final nail is kids daycare expenses. man, do I seriously wish this was over with and we would be ok… idk how people do this.
I think Pac Man is the oldest, but only by a year.
I use a combo of Roku and Firesticks through the house. Since I have a raspberry pi with pihole on it all the ads and telemetry is blocked, or at least majority of it is.
That’s what the poop knife is for.
I’m only commenting on the Steam refund part. That’s crazy to me, of all places to return games. The most relaxed has been Steam and never had any issues with them. Even if waiting a month, they normally only care how long you played it, which I think is supposed to be less than 2 hours. For comparison, I tried returning a PS5 game and was immediately denied because they claim as soon as the game is launched once they will not accept it back, which is awful.
That sucks they denied you. It really sounds like they should have let you return it.
I feel your pain for the declutter… I as well have about 3 cables plugged into a super charger and I love the charge times it provides, I hate the cables. I really wish they made a cable that rolled back up like those ID badge lanyards you attach to your belt. Only take the cable you need and once done it rolls back up into a small space.
As someone who works in telecom building phone tree menus, I agree. I have never said this is needed. I’m sure there are some companies with a million departments where narrowing it down with this would be quicker, but I’ve never dealt with one where 5 options and maybe a few subtrees didn’t get the job done. Takes under a minute to navigate. I believe the customer enjoys this more as well.
I stumbled on it by accident so I am not sure if it will be great, but it offered enough stuff that she wanted (I could care less about live tv!) That were going to give it a try. It’s called frndly tv and looks like it’s $10 a month or $8 if you pay for the year. It has a week trial so I guess we’ll see if it’s decent. The other one we saw was Philo but I think that was $25 and offered more channels but nothing more that we wanted that the first option didn’t have. Neither offer local channels which is why we’re also getting Peacock as well.
Yeah, bring the features… I think in the 4 years of being with Hulu they only had 1 redesign but still no new features and definitely never fixed any of the bugs that have been here forever. I really wanted to see some improvements to more 4k content and feature some of the live tv broadcasts in 4k but nope.
I finally canceled the over priced live tv and today’s the last day before it’s gone. $85 bucks a month is just not worth it. Found another service that offers a lot of channels for $8 a month and my wife only wants 1 local station so $7 for that. Knocking $85 down to $15 is a big win. I don’t think I will be the only one if they really think they can raise prices like that. Glad I’m done with them.
That’s kind of cool. Although with the turn over rate of how long most people stay at jobs these days I am shocked not more people have the jaded mentality of “why should I do this if I’ll never benefit from it myself”. Pretty cool that everyone just does the better thing for others.
If the main room is taken, I find my people in the kitchen or outside. They are normally known as the stoners.
Nooooo!
The best line I have actually heard multiple times whenever a change is made by my company is “we are changing so and so service to this to better align ourselves with industry standards.” And guess what, those standards are always worse for us. Never once seen this where it’s been a positive. I guess it’s ok to do if everyone else does it!
They won’t even offer a yearly plan? This is awful… please Playstation, do not follow this model. It’s $240 a year compared to the top tier psn plan at $160.
I used to use Subsonic, but it’s become too outdated for me sadly. I switched to a fork Navidrome which updates a few times a year and enjoy the improvements it’s been providing. I use it with the mobile app Symfonium and love that they are both improving the API to add additional features and options over what Subsonic offered. I run it on my Synology in Docker so you should have no issues either.
Sadly, I do order from crap places like this more than I would like to admit. Key these days to keeping semi low prices or get more food for the price is to have an account and order from the app. You can see all the deals and pick one that may work best for you. Some places are better than others. Most of Domino’s is a scam because the deal price should just be the real price. It basically penalizes people who don’t go out of their way. Good luck next time!
The crazy part is them giving you the “legend of” in the question. Without it, I could see it being a toss-up for most people. At least they didn’t pick Sonic.
