I’m really out of practice, but I remember that onion fondly. My teacher would have us write our fundamental principles down and then do it again a year later and compare.
I trained tai chi and a little ba gua. I sparred a little with some karate and take kwon do people. I cleaned up. I did some light sparring with a ba gua guy and he was literally throwing me around effortlessly.
I was taught well. I would imagine that my teacher was 1/1000. When looking for him, I found at least 5 different schools that had no idea what they were doing and teaching tai chi anyways.
We’re still far away from last of us territory because cordyceps targets ants, and we’re a bit different. It’s a huge issue for hospitals though. If a hospital was to become infected with a deadly fungus, best course of action is probably to burn it down. Seriously though, the fumigation needed would completely close the hospital for a while.
Right now. There’s been reports of fungi that are becoming more tolerant of warmer temperatures due to climate change. There’s a radiolab about it that’s a few years old
We called it marijuana before it was legal. Marijuana is a term that’s obviously linked to Latin communities. So while it’s illegal, we’re OK with calling it something that’s linked to a community, BUT once it’s legal, suddenly we’re trying to erase that connection. Like it’s too good for that community anymore. It would be less racist to continue calling it marijuana WHILE recognizing the historical racism and celebrating the culture that ensured the plant was still here when it was legalized. Ignoring that contribution is like appropriation. Erasing the Latin influences in marijuana culture once the plant is legal isn’t anti racist.
I feel like it’s more racist to start calling it cannabis once it’s legal.
I also don’t think he’s writing them, so you can consider that as well
I’m fairly certain that the last two books will be published close together. Grrm is well known for writing a chapter and then pushing it to the next book.
Walking on some surfaces is downright pleasurable. Dewy morning grass or a dry hard packed dirt trail for instance
I remember being blown away by some of the games back then, and also disappointed that it wasn’t a more popular console.
It’s feasible that the kid is still alive. Think for a moment what they would have lived through. A complete childhood without the state of Israel (Zionists were already moving in) , ww2, Israel being recognized as a state, the nakba, multiple wars trying to push israels influence away. Intifada, the second intifada, and then Israel slowly taking all Palestinian land. Followed by a genocide late in life…
Good advice. It’s also good to have clear boundaries set up. The ideal. The what you expect, and the non negotiable. Start with the ideal. Expecting to get pushed towards what you expect. Never budge on the nonnegotiable.
I guess the big difference is it doesn’t encircle the sun
Or the halo from the game ‘halo’
What kind of asshole did that facial restructuring? We know the Neanderthal did art. Why does his hair look like that? With some crazy grin? Looks like a brain dead person on life support at a hospital that’s been failing inspections. We have every reason to think they valued beauty. Why isn’t this guy put up in his finest buckskin? Maybe with some jewelry.
The US needs an extreme clean up in the government. Unfortunately, it’s going to be harder to do every election that it doesn’t happen
I appreciated your joke a metric imperial shit tonne
