Yeah it should be legalized.
What people do with their bodies is their own choice.

I moved to natural sources (sugar and stevia) and I only do half doses. All this stuff is way too sweet and it’s crazy that the boomer generation just let things get so out of hand.
I really hoped that the mask stigma would change, but it’s sad to see it go this way. I might just start wearing a mask again to do my part to normalize it.
If people are sick, they should feel like it’s the right thing to do to wear a mask. It needs to be a normal thing and people that make fun of it are pieces of shit .
Other studies show that in health-care workers, n95 vs medical masks made almost no statistical difference.
However, the use of masks in the public is not necessarily to protect yourself. It’s to keep you from spreading germs in a wide range if you cough. It’s the same concept as herd immunity with vaccinations. We all help protect each other.
So with that in mind: wear a washable cloth mask.
What a genius getaway vehicle.
Not sure what he expected. I commend all the protesting, but we all saw how reddit responded. They didn’t give two shits. Yet people stick around in a toxic relationship with the site until they get removed. It’s weird. Why not just make the move to Lemmy before they take everything from you?
People don’t want to be vegan for a variety of issues.
My personal problem comes with things like not eating honey. Beekeepers keep bee populations healthy. Those bees pollinate the food vegans eat. But for some dumb ass reason vegans are against it.
I’m all for moving away from meat, but exclusion shouldn’t be the focus. The majority of people will never convert to vegan diet, but we CAN get them to replace some of what they eat with vegetarian alternatives.
There isn’t an easy statement that explains why things are getting worse.
The housing market, for instance, was being affected by low interest rates. Low rates make being a slum lord more profitable than other forms of investment. This caused a massive amount of investment in the housing market by rich people and corporations, and normal people were priced out.
The banks that failed did so because they either invested in dumb things (crypto) or in long-term bonds. Those bonds lose value as interest rates rise, and SVB invested far too much into them.
There’s all kinds of reasons
I don’t mind memes but holy shit most of them are so bad and the volume is just too much.
This makes me sad because politics are very important, but the media has turned it into such garbage that people have become indifferent.
500k salary
Passing aggressively on a 2 lane road: ok, yes I agree
Driving slow on a 4 lane highway: real dangerous
If someone isn’t going to go at least the speed limit on a highway, they should use back roads instead.
Unfortunately, a majority of the population like the ad based free service model, so here we are.
True. The only personalized ads I ever receive are for products I literally just purchased.
I don’t know how there’s so much money in the ad space. It just seems like a huge waste.
Once again, Lukashenko assumes that the rest of the world is as shitty and weak as Belarus and Russia. Wagner may be able to get to Moscow, but they would be utterly demolished the second they closed the border.
Man, this makes me rethink my whole idea of online anonymity.
There’s a lot of reasons why requiring identity verification could be a good thing, but holy shit now I realize how quickly something like that could slip into authoritarianism.
I still think we need a identity verification service for things like online games and social media (to thwart ban evasion), but it has to be something decentralized.
Because I’m tired of seeing ads for things I literally just purchased.
I’m real tired of hearing about Lemmy and Reddit. I just want the other content that I used to consume here. I’m getting pretty tired of hearing how bad Reddit is doing.
It’s because Edge is built on Chromium now.
