and you’d be the stupidest person in the room if you did.
and you’d be the stupidest person in the room if you did.
the military might be the only thing that stops him. Hence why i didn’t include it.
But i have no idea. Literally every other duty, and every other branch will be under the whims of the stupidest person in america right now.
you realize places without elections still have them, they just mean nothing right?
he doesnt even have to touch the military, just has to certify fraudulent voter slates, that’s it.
trump just barely failed to steal it last time, this time he has the fucking supervillain crackpot team behind him.
If he wants to do it, all he has to do is make the call.
He has the executive, he has the house, he has the senate, he will most likely completely have the supreme court, there is literally nobody to tell him no anymore.
anywhere from not really, to literally world war 3.
trump is a loose cannon.
We do not win here.
Which of those projects will be ready by the time China invades Taiwan in early 2025? And how will those factories absorb all the global orders for chips when they’re not ready?
for one, there’s no guarantee. Trump should want to protect taiwan, as it’s a strategically convenient point of interest.
You are agreeing with me. Fabs are hard. Our people are stupid.
well sort of, your argument is “well its hard and difficult so why should we ever try” my argument is “doing literally anything at all is going to be a better move.”
Their people are smart. If their people are tied up in a war and dying, and their fabs are destroyed, and our fabs are half built
yeah idk i think they would probably move to the US. The place where they are most likely to be able to fabricate again.
you are unironically concern trolling with this post.
nice shitpost homie, maybe if you had some reading comprehension you would be able to understand the intellectual argument here.
“NUH UH UR WRONG L TAKE DUMBASS” this is literally you right now.
You mean one of the things the Biden admin bragged about?
yeah.
Good thing the incoming administration isn’t petty enough to nuke anything associated with the previous administration…
that would be unfortunate.
Remember when the US government gave the telecoms billions to build gigabit internet infrastructure nationwide and they fuckin just didn’t do it?
me too, i also remember in 1930, when the great depression happened. I don’t see the relevance here though.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CHIPS_and_Science_Act#Impact
shit in r&d is not like throwing money at big corpo and hoping they do what you want. If you don’t turn out results in r&d, it’s a dead field.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CHIPS_and_Science_Act#Project_announcements
plenty of project announcements, idk if you think the government can’t like, build buildings or something, even though they can make the interstate highway system. But in defense of the CHIPS, building fabs is really fucking hard, costs billions of dollars, and takes many, many years.
so basically the entire reason you voted for trump is schizophrenic economics. When you could’ve voted for kamala harris, who has actual real tangible economic policy.
They should’ve at least looked into Trumps claims even if they were fabricated.
to be clear, trump has made 10x the amount of public claims, privately, every single one was either incredibly illegal. Or fucking wrong. Not a single one was correct.
selfaware lemmy.ml user? based.
and he can afford the best doctors.
“and he can afford the best doctors.”
seems like they didnt to me.
It’s not enough to wine that the voters are too stupid,
this is ultimately the problem though. The voter base is fucking retarded, and it’s fuelled by a massive propaganda machine. There is literally nothing we can do here.
i mean, we’re literally building fabs under the CHIPS act right now.
put a sign on your door next year, and report back on how well it works lol.
I see you did it this year, but doing it again next year should also increase the amount of visitors. We do a little science.
And when standing on the ground, the yell is louder, even though the military spent 80 million dollars on the jet.
to be clear, i wasn’t the one that made that comparison. Naturally you can fly planes at altitudes other than one specific number, that seems to be a feature of most planes.
i believe generally, in the space of planes, the ones that fly in the sky, not the mathematical ones. It refers to an operating altitude. However, i was using it to refer to that specific altitude. “operational altitude” for something like a military jet is not going to be specifically defined, compared to something like, a boeing 737 for example. There is likely to be a maxmimum operational altitude, naturally. Planes need air to fly through, obviously. But that’s irrelevant here, we’re talking about the ground.
And when standing on the ground, the yell is louder, even though the military spent 80 million dollars on the jet. You’d be surprised how far cash can go in the right hands. (The right hands being critical)
oh cool we’re just fucking, lying now. That’s the sound level of the f35 at altitude.
“F-35 produces 115 db at ground level, on take-off”
“F-35 at minimum (cruising) power at 1,000 feet was 103 db”
“F-35 at 121 db at 1,000 ft, and 500 mph”
(https://www.safeskiescleanwaterwi.org/noise-level-comparisons-f-35-and-other-aircraft/ ripped from here if you’re wondering)
btw just for the record, talking about excessive cost of the f35 is extremely redundant. It has an incredibly high R&D cost but that’s literally because it’s the most technologically capable plane ever built. Over time given enough production and a probably 50 years of service, it will shrink in comparison.
