I’d say it’s more like I went to a party where the host invited the entire block but only wants people there wearing funny hats, but didn’t tell anyone they had to wear a funny hat and then called the police to complain that their house is full of people who aren’t wearing funny hats.

I’d take the ban without question if I was acting like an ass on there, but all I did was make a comment that didn’t specifically agree with them that everyone who isn’t vegan is apparently a horrible person who persecutes vegans constantly lol

I appreciate that, but I already blocked the mod and the community. There’s no point in even trying to deal with someone like that for a community I’m not super active in. I honestly can’t imagine that even vegan people will want to stay there much longer if it’s gotten this bad

I obviously can’t speak for everyone, but this never happened when I was in middle school and high school in the 90s. If someone couldn’t afford the school lunch they had a free lunch program where kids would just go up to the counter and get a sandwich and a juice. No one ever said anything to the kids who got the free lunch because it’s lunch lol everyone’s gotta eat!

I seem to recall that if the total calories are below a certain point they’re still allowed to call it “zero calorie”. Diet Coke is mostly water which has no calories and all the other ingredients probably amount to like 2 or 3 calories total. Since that’s considered a negligible amount they just list it as zero

I switch between Boost for Lemmy and Jerboa. Boost has more features but is a little more complicated to use. Jerboa is super simple and made everything easy but it’s missing a few features I need to use occasionally.

Edit: after looking up the game I’m going to say a LOT of people probably don’t know Night Into Dreams because it was released for Sega Saturn and not that many people actually bought that system at the time.
