Were you on EI still when you found the job?
That’d be a fun story to tell them why you need to restart it.

I saw a recent article that’d be great for their first

A lot of us walked/biked to our grade school as well. I can’t remember which grade I started walking, but I was definitely doing it in 4. I’d wager even grade 3 but can’t be 100% sure.
That’s why they also wanna get rid of critical thinking skills.
In a new session isn’t there no speaker until one is elected with any rules?
Just don’t accept the rules and go into another cycle of endless votes for speaker.
It tastes good, but i feel pretty guilty doing it
I don’t do it often, but pasta with a cream of mushroom or clam chowder soup.
Maybe not too weird, but that’s probably as weird as it gets.
Chronic fatigue syndrome.
It’s another one like long covid where so much of the medical community thinks it’s all in people’s heads and not real, but unlike long covid it’s less prevalent and thus studied less. We still don’t know what it is.
There’s even some hopes that figuring out long covid might lead to new ways to look into what cfs really is.
With the changes in raptor 3 getting rid of the heat shields I’m wondering what this means as well. It warped with a heat shield. Prior to this, they didn’t think raptor 3 needed one, but does this change things?
Jeff Bezos and his massive overcompensation of a dick rocket that can also land propulsively, but not worth discussing.
In case anyone doesn’t know why… it’s not an orbital rocket. It just goes up and down. Orbital is going up AND sideways very fast.
I tried to explain to someone months ago that SpaceX testing things to failure was part of their success, and gave an example like purposely leaving heat shield tiles off starship to see what happened, or launching a version of starship that didn’t have all the improvements that the next starship had, and they then came back saying that is exactly why they (and other people) hate SpaceX. They don’t know everything up front and they should!
I thought it was the boosters that were in retrospect pointlessly refurbished and would have been cheaper to make new.
Are you sure it was also the shuttle itself being cheaper to make new? The shuttle also took something like 6 months to refurb. Reusable, but not rapid.
Elon said they’ve done an initial inspection and it’s looking great. Also already found some stuff to improve that they’d never know without the catch
A few outer engine nozzles are warped from heating & some other minor issues, but these are easily addressed.
I think the title need a little work…
How can I prove I’m dead?
Someone else can, but the title says I have to.
I’ve always enjoyed this video to give a perspective on size
I usually increase playback speed, it’s a bit slow at start.
Vance sure does love fucking couches!
If you do it over 20 years absolutely it can be done.
But to do that and retire in your early 40’s (40-43.33) as you suggest means people will need to likely meet in highschool or early college and work on it right away once they start earning income.
Unless people happen to create a similar plan 20 years prior and are able to find each other many years into their plans. It is possible, but it’s harder.
edit: changed the perspective to people, not specifically you.
Having to take something out for a walk everyday?!? Even that’s to much.
Cats are where it’s at!
You aren’t. You’re supposed to stay poor, unhappy, and unable to support your kid so they can’t get a good education and can’t critically think and are taught to worship trump and the GOP.
Many many years ago I worked a job where we had to keep an eye on the call center call queue/employees call status on the phone.
Someone always has to keep an eye on it, so if you need to go for a break, even just to use the washroom, if you’re the only one on shift, you asked one of the team leads to watch it.
Had been like that for years.
Well, we had a brand new manager for our team who was an offsite manager at another call center, and my other coworker was in a very long meeting that day so I was all alone watching things.
I was really hungry, feeling sick from it, so I asked one of the team leads as usual to watch things while I took a break and went across the street to grab some fast food and come back.
Well, while I was gone for like 10minutes, the manager had called our desk (we have voice mail) and realized no one was there.
He reamed me out for having left the desk unattended, and how I should have waited for my coworkers meeting to end which wasn’t ending anytime soon.
Didn’t care that I’d had a TL cover for me as we’d always done.
Next day, HR calls me into their office and puts me on formal notice for it.
I quit the next day. Fuck that shit.
