Any cheese substitutes maybe?
Any cheese substitutes maybe?
But there are.
That’s what I listed in my comment above. That was the point I was trying to make.
None of that changes that the capitalist system and capitalism have a direct impact on other areas of government.
Lobbiest that work for companies do that constantly because of Capitalism. It’s an entire field of work.
What do you mean by one policy?
Capitalism influences many areas of government directly.
It’s not just economics. It’s foreign policy, company regulations, individual protections, land ownership rights, etc. It’s an ongoing list. Even cultural rights are directly impacted by Capitalism.
It is one policy of a larger system.
Right, it’s an economic system that directly influences many parts of government.
Same as any other economic political system.
You’re just describing a political system.
Capitalism is an economic system with as little government intervention possible.
Doesn’t the bolded part make it a political system then?
This is a bot isn’t it?
Some people tried to replace capitalism with a totally different system and it went real bad real fast. This wasn’t an isolated incident. They tried it in a bunch of places and in none of them did it work.
What examples are you thinking of?
Saw a news article recently that a person fell for an AI FaceTime scan that was imitating one of his relatives. He lost something like $40,000.
Edit: Found it. It was actually over $600,000.

What?
The only options aren’t capitalism or total anarchy.
I teach middle school. During the school year, I heard it two dozen times daily.
It’s getting tiresome already.

Nowhere did I say I misunderstood.
That’s just reiterating the same thing without expanding on it.
How could you explain it better for an argument then?
That feels like a scapegoat argument. That reduces down to “bad things happen when bad people do bad things.”
You can argue against anything when you say that.
"Dentists should be outlawed because some dentists have abused their clients " Isn’t a fair argument either.
Just because it has a chance to happen doesn’t mean it’s an inevitability.
Feels like an example of confirmation bias.
I’m not even saying I agree. I think privacy is important. I’m just playing devil’s advocate for the OPs question.
The couldn’t the person just cite all the times that hasn’t happened?
Highlight of your day?
