I think it’s credited as one of, if not the first, show to flip the sitcom formula on it’s head in terms of protagonists. Before, shows were about good people having to deal with conflicts and coming out on top. Seinfeld was about bad people creating conflicts and then failing to resolve them. This is particularly evident in the finale when the show ends with them all in jail instead of each character getting their own happy ending.

There are times when the sound effects and other sounds are mixed with dialogue into the original audio, so the English dub doesn’t have it. This makes it feel empty and lifeless.
I think it’s just not for me. Space operas and the like are too tedious. My preference in writing is for immediacy and action, not tangential explanations of dynastic lineage, lengthy asides on culture, etc.
I’ve tried so many times to read this and can never get past the first couple chapters. Just doesn’t keep my attention.
Maybe try converting the PDF to another file type, such as Mobi, first and then epub?
