People don’t vote because they see the system is rigged so the popular vote isn’t a great standard to go by either, it’s a product of the system as well
If you had 100% turnout the popular vote would be very different.

THIS is the moment where everyone should be creating 3rd party candidates and going to the streets to spread awareness for the next election.
Not 6 months before the election with trump as a possibility. Get out there and promote 3rd party now, when people are pissed at Democrats for throwing it all away for Israel and people are pissed the trump won.
Depends where you live. Up north it only makes a difference for a few weeks. Then it’s still dark after work for most of the winter.
Maybe because with Airbnb instead of renting out a house for $2000 a month to someone looking to live there they can rent it out for $1000 a week to tourists and double their profit.
I disagree with letting whales waste their money.
Video game design has changed to specifically cater to whales and ignore regular gamers.
It’s no different than spending thousands on travel or hundreds to watch movies at the theater. You’re paying for the experience and entertainment, not something physical.
I mean, it doesn’t really matter if you don’t think toddlers need realistic depictions, if it’s running that means that toddlers are watching it or the parents of toddlers want realistic depictions.
What should they be watching? Superheroes? Other toddlers that behave like perfect angels? I’m sure there are enough other options out there, if they were watching those all the time then the realistic depictions wouldn’t be on air still. I remember watching Caillou and that was like 25 years ago, so obviously it’s probably doing something right.
My guess is that it’s easier to dig out a structure than build one from the ground up.
“could have happened to anyone”
Uh, sure, maybe anyone who wasn’t 16 years old. I completely blame the company for allowing a 16 year old to operate dangerous equipment, let alone without direct supervision.
If his two coworkers were only alerted to his injury after the kid phoned his boss, got disconnected, texted him a picture, then the boss phones the coworkers, they were absolutely not close enough to be supervising that kid even with “hearing protection”. That would be like 2-3 minutes at least for that process but likely took longer.
You’re telling me there were no better jobs the kid could have been doing while the coworkers operated the mulching machine?
Are they trying to prove that they can vote without being identified or something?
I get as many coffee breaks in the office as I want but it’s not like I get up, grab a cup and then play on my phone while I drink my coffee for 15 minutes. I get up, grab a cup, maybe say hi to someone as it brews an instant cup, then go back to my desk and drink while I am working. But no one is shadowing down my neck saying I can’t leave my desk until 10:15 and I need to be back by 10:30 or my pay is docked. Freedom and responsibility rather than strict time management and punishment.
If they stop selling it, they stop buying it from suppliers and then the suppliers need to find a way to decrease their costs to make it so stores buy their products again. Otherwise they go out of business, so they will find a way.
I mean, do you expect news to be free?
Either pay for it by selling your data or with money, or don’t use their website.
Price cap increases perhaps. No more than 5% increase from the price the product was on January 01 that year.
For me I mostly just dislike the location of it. I have accidentally hit it many times. Would be better if it were somewhere up near the f1-f12 keys.
I would probably choose my favourite movie in SD, a few dozen of my favourite songs, a few dozen old school games, and then fill out the rest with a few hundred ebooks.
Variety can be way more valuable than pure quantity.
Nintendo has been on my list of most hated companies for awhile now. Just can’t stand how they operate and design their games.
Also ad lock blocks ads on all of the platforms you use. YouTube plus just removed them from YouTube… I ain’t paying 20 different places for ad free use when they charge like $15+ each, maybe if it were $1 each for nah they are all greedy.
Ya I did go vertical in my last attempt, but I could only fit 24 smelters on the first floor and then got to tier 5 and unlocked more stuff which put me over the edge of needing more I needed to build a second factory or a new floor on top with more smelters and it just got super complicated for me, needing to send ore to two different spots and organizing the ingots going everywhere I needed. I also have a thing about organization, symmetry, and logic and I just could not find a “satisfactory” way to build it knowing once I unlocked a new tier, without knowing what I would need ahead of time, everything I built would probably need to be redone at some point again
Eh, I don’t mind tasteful graffiti but when it’s literally just a dozen tags with nothing artistic about it then that’s pretty shit.
