Speaking as an aerospace engineer, of course. But it’d be a worthy um…expenditure?
Let’s just launch him into the Sun.
Don’t send Elon, though. I’d rather we not contaminate the planet.
At some point, really hoping the US government just disqualifies Boeing as a potential supplier. I was ready to celebrate that Boeing finally managed to not fuck something up, but alas, my hopes were somehow too high. Good luck to the astronauts on re-entry.
I think you’re being a tad unreasonable. Ever the cynic myself, sometimes things just go according to plan.
Yup. I wonder if Boeing might be selected to supply the crew capsule for whatever comes after the Artemis programme.
There’s almost a zero chance that happens.
Yup. It’s all probability distributions fitted to a shit ton of text fetched either from data stores or through web crawlers.
I think it makes sense, but only after logging out for the day and coming back to it a bit either the next day, or after a weekend in the case of code completion late Thursday or early Friday.
All hail the PR draft
Rocket programmer (and engineer) here. Can confirm that time programming is hell. Don’t even start on DST.
Emphatically fucking no
To the shock of…
crickets chirping
TIL. I thought C was older than that.
Wasn’t a lot of Voyager’s code written in C?
Yeah, I mean it’s basically running on a toaster. Crazy how much radiation the Voyager probes have to have sustained.
¿Por qué no los dos?
People complain about C’s security issues because it’s too easy to learn.
Wat. That is…one of the opinions of all time, for sure.
If they succeed, it’ll be in spite of their greed, not because of it.
