So you drag a mine cart up a hill with energy produced using renewable energy and then let it go down the hill and collect the stored energy with its motion. My 2 cents is that the reason no one switches is nothing is innovative anymore but we are fairly addicted so its not like we’re going to demand innovation. If there’s was some cool new “swipe right” or “get notified when friends are online” type thing then people would check it out. But all the cool stuff has been innovated already and now switching to a new thing isn’t enticing because its the same stuff we all have just moved around differently. Nobody cares about the backend stuff
