The US health insurance leech industry specifically, though? You’re damn right it is!
They can charge as much extra based on it as they want to, though.
That’s one of the main reason why, much better than the previous system as it is, the ACA is nowhere near good enough.
There’s not much benefit to them having to offer you insurance when they can just offer you insurance that you can’t afford.
