Source film maker. Kind of like Garry’s mod but specifically for making videos.
People hate on apple coming out with features later than other companies but then they usually blow the competition out of the water in terms of ux. It’s not marketing them better, it’s implementing better.
It’s like valve helping develop proton vs making another nvidia shield or windows handheld.
Payday 3 has online only lobbies. On launch nobody could play for weeks because they were entirely overrun. Truly a baffling decision after the steam deck launch, probably made because they had some deal with their server provider. All while also competing with payday 2.
Just checked and payday 2 is sitting at 20k current players while 3 is still <300.
For comparison helldivers launched several months later, also had always online with launch server capacity issues, at a much higher scale, and fixed them within a week. That’s with Sony resources backing them, but still. Payday was out for weeks before it was playable for most.
Just checked for laughs and helldivers 1 has more players than payday 3 right now.
Payday 3 worked fine for me before the full release overloaded the always online servers for weeks. It’s a funner game than payday 2 but always online is ridiculous. I don’t want developers to just get away with that in the future.
You know the kind of guy who does nothing but browse the internet and then wonders why his life sucks? One by one I’m gonna make up for all the grass I didn’t touch.
Why a penny? Did you put a penny in this door? If I find a penny in this door I’m taking you down.
Yeah the rubber fell off of one side immediately. And opening it up to try and fix it was a hassle. From the article activist shareholders forced them to work towards right to repair, but if they don’t switch to Hall effect sensors it’s really just forced to repair. Potentiometer controllers have a forced shelf life, and controller manufacturers are fine with that. Now they’re just making money selling the parts too.
With how quickly my elite series 2 fell apart, I’m not sure they can get any cheaper.
I played a pretty good vr puzzle game like that, except you had to tap your cane. It was just called blind
