But if you wanted to forward your gmail (or yahoo, or outlook, or whatever other provider that offers a public SMTP server) addresses to your proton mailbox, and be able send emails as those gmail addresses from within your proton mailbox, that’s not supported. I’m honestly a bit surprised that Proton doesn’t seem to have the send as feature. I was able to find at least 15 posts across their uservoice.com site and their Reddit forum, spanning at least 6 years, with one of the uservoice posts having over 300 votes. I just gathered up all the links and sent it into Proton Mail support. Hopefully having all that thrown at them in one big bundle will prompt their project managers to consider it.

The last time I ran desktop Linux I recall the default music player for KDE being closest in functionality like ratings smart playlists a shuffle mode to select an album at random and play the whole album in correct track order. Every primary election I’ve participated in the official who checks you in just asked which primary you want to vote in. And since voter registration in Texas does not track party affiliation you’re going to have a rough time convincing me this counts as registering with the party.

The spam you’re getting is simply because it’s public record whether you voted in any election, including which primary you voted in. But it’s not the same as other states recording your party affiliation as part of your voter registration, which Texas flat out does not do.

Texas doesn’t have party affiliation on your voter registration and we have open primaries.
