Thanks, I was aware of the model F project but didn’t realize they had anything other than very large layout options. I have 4 original model M’s, (two are broken), but my desk is too small with my work and personal computers. (I tried a keyboard switch, but I gave up using it after typing to the wrong computer one too many times)
They use your standard Chinese cherry clone switches. Better than the rubber dome keyboards everyone gets by default, but nothing like a genuine model M. (the other reply linked to a model F which is likely better than the M but I wasn’t aware of that option until now so I’ll have to try it)
I wish I could get one in a 60% layout. My desk is too small for my big ones.
Older systems have been known to use the radiators as the expansion tank. this would not meet modern code but plenty of old systems exist.

the irs looks at large charitable donations with suspicion because it is easy for a charity to pretend to do good but really just things the donars would do anyway but now they can deduct it. Thus large donars often have to do a match of smalaer donars as the large donation with no small donars suggests only the rich care and so maybe it isn’t really charitable.
remember the above is a factor in some cases but shoud be considered only after you exhaust the other reasons to do this and find they are not enough.
There needs to be space someplace in the system since water expands when it warms. Sometimes that space is in the radiators andso bleeding needs to not let all the air out, for this reason you should get maintenance toefix the problem if one exists so they can balance the system.
There are many who are pushing rust as a religion tan that turns people off.
Pensions are for life so even if you like to 120 you get something. However they are generally limitited to poor rates of return so if you like a more reasonable life time you had much less money to live on.
Likely better for the company officers if you switch so they make it better for you too
You should take advantage of the free continuing education you likely get. While nurse practicioner isn’t quite as high paying you can get there without [more] debt and get raises on the way as you get more deducation.
What is lower class? most people consider themselves middle class and have employer health insurance, but a large number meet the common definition of lower class so I consider the common definition wrong.
The middle class is much larger. Not ignoring the plight of them, but don’t force something subpar on me just for a small percetage. With several hundred americans there are a lot of poor but still a tiny percentage
They are the naturatual concequense of the policies put into place. They are not required but they are still the result that should be expected.
I think insurance should cover you for all current conditions for life even if you otherwise switch insurance for new issues
Only a tiny minority who mostly don’t have jobs and thus no insurance and so we already need to do something different. For the middle class this is better.
When companies pay me more if I don’t take their insurance I have an option to choose something better. Right now I have no optioniso nobody cares to serve me.
I feel compelled to point that out though as government provided health care is not the only possible solution, and I’m in the group that would oppose that. However I have provided a better alternative: eliminate the deductions for employer provided insurance. (I think the above about other benefits jobs provide - I should be comparing paycheck not “fringe benefits”.
What the US has isn’t free market capitalism. It is capitalism but with government imposed rules that are harmful to the common person. Your insurance depends your employer and you don’t get a reasonable choice - they put in $1000/month that if you go elsewhere you lose that. Of course what your employer wants and what you want are different. Your employer wants the lowest costs for something expensive, and they want you to not quit until they are ready to get rid of you. You want some service with that insurance, but you are not a player with power so you don’t get that.
Do you really need all that? Is there a local copy shop (often public libraries, drug stores…) that have some of those services? Sometimes they have better quality printers (photo printers for example). While you pay more per page, do you really do whatever it is enough to make it worth the cost of the printer vs just going elsewhere? There are many middle grounds (black and white printer. Use your phone camera as a scanner) that are clearly worse than what you want, but still good enough for most purposes and you can use the better option when you need it.
The answer to the above of course depends on your specific situation so there isn’t one right answer. It is always work thinking about though.
Are you looking to get into it because you want a good keyboard that feels good; or do you want to get into it because you like the idea of weird layouts, building your own keyboard, trying different switches, weird color schemes, custom key shapes, or all the other interesting but not typing things you can do. Nothing wrong with that second group, even though you can probably tell from my tone that I don’t see the point myself (if this is you I can’t give good advice so stop reading).
