Yes, this! I rarely ask for permission on that sort of thing. I’ll just do it as part of my work and see if anyone calls me out on it.

I asked and answered a small handful of questions in the mid 20-teens but not really much since. I still wind up finding good answers there on a semi regular basis, though.
I just looked in my profile and my last question was in 2017. I received a holier than thou “what you’re trying to do is wrong” type of response and finally solved it with the help of a coworker who actually cared.
I second rustlings, it’s really good!
I keep thinking back to years ago when someone at work tried to tell me this guy was good and I could just tell on vibes alone to stay clear.
lol I was scratching my head at that choice as well.
Interesting! Certainly there are swift web frameworks out there. The trouble is I’d either have to work for a company crazy enough to let me take a big risk on using it, or else it’d have to be a personal project I do just for the hell of it.
I know you described it as “young” but I almost can’t believe swift is 10 years old now, oof. I remember watching wwdc when it was announced, surely that was recent… right?? 💀
Same! I love using swift but I don’t get to do a lot of iOS development these days. I wish it had more of a life outside of apple platforms.
I also only had time for one episode so far but I dug it. Felt like they really nailed the vibe. I am loving our three main characters too.
I’m not a huge fan of gore but the violence here felt on par with the game and a little bit slapstick in a way that for me made it less gross and more silly.
I’m excited to watch more soon!
Coming back to revise my answer. It’s definitely FF7 Chadley.
I still use and love RSS. 🙂
Back in the day I was a big Google Reader fan, then they went and killed it off. Now I use a combination of Feedbin on the web and the Reeder app on iOS.
Haha, sorry. They just drove me up the wall. Somebody else in this thread besmirched a character I like though so I know the feels.
The first that comes to mind is the entire crew in Pikmin 4, and particularly Collin. Those little chatterboxes never ever shut up or cease giving you advice on things you already know how to do. I hate them so much.
I thought Tax Evasion was an absolute delight. Yeah it’s short and silly, but it made me laugh a lot and that’s all I was really hoping for. Hoping for more of the same from the next one.
I’ve used IBM Plex Mono for a long time. Currently giving github’s new Monaspace a try.
Keychron Q5, knob version. Tecsee coral tactile switches and akko keycaps.
Same jeez this headline scared me!
Wow I had no idea they were still releasing balance updates for this game. That’s pretty cool. We just play offline split screen and have been enjoying the new tracks as they come out.
185 hours, 68%. I’d love to keep going, but at the same time I’ve mostly run out of things in game that I feel like completing.
I remember looking at the rows of PC game boxes at the store and being very curious about Myst. But for some reason I never asked my parents for it. I guess maybe since I didn’t really have any idea what it was, it just felt like something out of reach.
I love “artsy puzzle games” now, so I feel like that would have been a pretty cool experience for me way back then!
