Press and hold? I hadn’t thought about that idea to be honest, I’ll have to try that next time. I use Vivaldi on both Android and desktop, which is based on Chromium (the open source project base for Google Chrome).

Edit - just tried it, didn’t work for me. It’s not an option in my menu. I’ll try and figure out the dev console on mobile and post here if I figure it out.

  • Mvp comment there. I checked mine and I am in the US, on a phone I originally bought on credit. I do not have that app installed. Go figure. 🤷‍♂️

Definitely worth checking out your app list to make sure. I wonder if it accidentally came downstream from AOSP into the alt ROMs, and that’s why it’s not in my stock, proprietary, US market, flagship Google pixel device.

  • Nemo on Windows can read extfs partitions better than NTFS plays with Linux. It’s more of a problem with proprietary file systems, not the open source file manager trying it’s best to reverse engineer the protocol.

When I dual booted, I would just share the extfs partition because it worked the best on both systems, once the extfs driver for Windows was installed.

  • On instances where downvoting is disabled, the button serves no purpose and will now not be displayed unless the instance permits it. The existence or absence of the downvote button is feedback on whether or not posts can be downvoted.

If the button is not displayed then < your particular Lemmy instance > is the one to be accused of going the way of Youtube.

Interestingly though, since you’re posting from Lemmy.world, I checked the list and your instance does allow downvoting. Maybe it’s a bug for !voyagerapp@lemmy.world

I on voyager 1.2.0 and downvote button appears for me btw.
