  • because as far as you were concerned, everyone is in the same tribe as you

I definitely don’t think that way. I’m aware that I am different from other people.

    Reposting from my other comment:

Well I had the luxury of dating a psychologist who specializes in diagnoses and her brother is autistic - so she is very aware of autism and how it works and what it looks like in different people.

She confirmed I’m not autistic and thought it was hilarious that anyone would assume that about me. She’s known me for years and she has experience in that field. She knows better than just randoms at a meet up group would.

  • Well I had the luxury of dating a psychologist who specializes in diagnoses and her brother is autistic - so she is very aware of autism and how it works and what it looks like in different people.

When I told her that random autistic girls from my comm were making this assumption she gave me the biggest eye roll and a laugh. Because duh, I’m not autistic.

  • god that sucks to hear.

I’m alarmed at the amount of people I met, mostly women, who are like upset when I tell them I’m not autistic. It’s like they want me to be or something. They insisted I needed to get tested to be sure.

Like what is with these people wanting this to be common and wanting to get people join in like its a club? It’s a genetic trait. You either have it or you don’t I thought.

  • Remember that fucking jackass, Ben Shapiro that he had on all the time?

I think it was Tony Hitchcliff who’s a stand up who was on Rogans show fucking begging him to not have stupid ass Shapiro on anymore and Rogan kept defending the guy and Tony was just like, dude… that guy is a fucking dork who makes you look bad. Stop having him on.

Honestly one of the funniest interactions I heard on the podcast where his actual friend is begging him to stop this nonsense and he just won’t do it.

  • You know, I once tried to explain to someone on reddit that Joe Rogan wasn’t always bald and there is evidence of this when he was on Newsradio and he had a full head of hair back then.

Idiot on reddit just kept arguing that he was always bald and didn’t even care that video evidence was being posted because it was more important to hate Rogan than to accept factual evidence of something so incredibly minimal on the scale of things.

Like why would it be important if he was bald or not? And why would hating him be more important than something being a fact?

Anyway, I asked cause I love Newsradio but often can’t talk about it because people will either figure out that Joe Rogan was on there, or they already know and then think I’m a psychotic alt right idiot.

All because I watch a show that existed before that guy was ever doing a podcast.

  • i meant that the person i know is not qanon

Part of this is bad phrasing because you are unaware of the movement but no one knows who Qanon is.

What people are talking about in this thread are people who follow the movement, and not who Qanon is. Of course your friend isn’t Qanon. That would be absurd.

But how do you know they aren’t posting on 4chan and following the movement? Is that what you are trying to say, that they don’t follow that sort of thing because you think its a movement that solely rooted in American politics?

  • Yeah, I mean, I went to pride anyway and I’m bisexual so of course I support LGBTQ+ because I’m part of the group.

But I don’t get treated like I’m part of the group. I just had a trans girl the other day who felt the need to explain to me, what a bisexual is. Like she’s fucking explaining my identity to me and talking down to me and you’re right, they don’t see the hypocrisy because you know if someone explained her identity to her, she’d filp out and other people would be outraged. But being bisexual is seen as “whatever” so its okay to condescend to that group.

So I don’t think that’s really the same left-wing extremism that I was originally talking about. There are left-wing communities like Linux, Open Source Software, Unionization, and Communism. Whereas if you aren’t 100% you might as well be -100%. If you have a slight disagreement on how the system should be ideally then you are the absolute enemy. Zero middle ground

I don’t understand how that is left wing? Like what does Linux have to do with left wing politics?
