I mean if i was kyle gass id tell jack black to go fuck himself. He made a big fit over a simple joke when his whole shtick(before being a literal clown for Disney™) was being an ‘edgy’ comedian who writes songs that are supposed to be offensive.

But you expect other people to use their free (literally unpaid) time to code what you want them to rather than what they care about or think is important. After theyve already made all of their work and progress free and openly available to anyone who wants to build off it. You have a fucked up view of the world.
So stop crying about it and tell us your must-pirate games already.
The people in the 4th panel arent supposed to be humans, theyre some sort of shadow people, and the 'ghoul’is like their shadow pet.
Get an air mouse remote. Theyre like 20 bucks on amazon and you just point the remote at the screen to control the mouse cursor. Mine also has media controls on one side and a full keyboard on the other, and only one set of buttons works at a tim3 based on which side is pointing up so you dont have accidental button presses. It makes it way more functional if you want to do even casual web browsing and the media controls are great for htpc apps. You can also use in browser streaming services this way too though. Honestly one of my favourite peripheral devices that ive ever bought, and super cheap and works way better than i wouldve thought for the price.
I mean not really. Even if they have a rough idea of how many times their game has been pirated by looking at seeder counts on torrents or whatever, theyre definitely not taking those numbers as a win and saying “look how many people didnt pay for our product, that just proves everyone really wants it”. Theyre comparing sales numbers.
I mean good. He obviously had enough vision and creativity to get it this far, so if he doesnt want it to be watered down im happy to have less of an awesome thing than way too much mediocre shit which is what lots of other shows are right now. If theres other writers that have good stories to tell then i hope they get a chance to make those into something great too.
This is such a bad faith comment. Im not a hexbear user but my instance is federated with them and ive interacted with lots of their posts. Go into any post on hexbear and youll see tons of examples of them disagreeing WITH EACHOTHER. they commonly have huge arguments in the comments and as long as everyone is civil and not arguing in bad faith noone gets banned and noone gets urt feelings. Stop lying and using hexbear as the lemmy boogeyman because its a bad look.
I mean its kind of nonsense because ive never and will never paid a convenience fee, mostly making me download an app is inconvenient enough to get me to not use a given service. But also because the only downside to taking out the ‘physical manifestations’ of these bullshit hypercapitalist scams would be a better world for all of us.
When your friend asks you to tripsit for their heroic psychedelic voyage.
“If you don’t enjoy doing it over and over again, just do it over and over again a bunch more times”
Have you never had a friend group? Like that’s a dead-ass simple ‘study’ of a gift economy. Sometimes someone pays for lunch, sometimes someone pays for beer, sometimes someone brings weed or bakes cookies or sings a song. Everyone helps everyone else out. Each according to their need, based on their ability. Or is that not something you’re familiar with, because if not, you need better friends.
Steam deck. Not as cheap as an ambernic or raspberry pi, but I’ve been blown away by how painless and plug and play everything is, and I’ve played games on it from every console generation up to ps3 so far, plus modern pc games. Steaminput makes controller settings a breeze even for games or applications that don’t have good input settings. I knew I’d like it before I got one last year, but since then I can’t say enough good things about it, it’s honestly everything I dreamed of as a kid playing video games, almost every game under the sun all in one handheld package, it’s honestly incredible.
You won’t find any sense behind it except data harvesting. They want all your info in one place, that’s the end of the story.
I assume we saw the same one but it wasn’t an ‘official’ controller, it was a 3rd party one specifically designed with steam in mind. Made by a company called Hori. Valve hasn’t announced another steam controller yet.
I mean you could just not use the difficulty slider. I’ve never turned down the difficulty in any game even if I could have, but I don’t begrudge people that do if they’re struggling.
Just buy an air mouse for $20 and you don’t have to get up to change episodes. Doesn’t help with having to unplug it from the hdmi all the time but that’s less of a hassle if you can just do it once when you start watching and then control everything from the couch.
If you’re legitimately interested you should check out /gonewildaudio (on reddit but there’s a lemmy community with a bot that reposts all the posts). Its all user submitted short (10-30 minute) scripts and then other users will record themselves reading the scripts, and I was honestly blown away by the quality and content. Not something I do all the time but there’s so many niche scenario scripts and the voice over recordings are really well done in the 3 or 4 that I’ve listened to.
Or they just made an announcement in 2021 about their existing content management tools and how much they’ve spent on them over the years. That’s how I read it anyway.
That cost seems incredibly high, how did you calculate that? Also what are you paying for a loaf of bread? Granted cheese is expensive so depending on how much mozarella you’re factoring in that could play a part, but im still curious about your numbers.
