Asking the real questions
Sounds helpful. I usually eat the pizza with the cardboard box
Man thats so cool. Every Government should embrace the foss tech.
I think that’s fine. Your privacy is as valuable as you think it is. If you care about privacy, then you’ll be on the lookout for this but if you don’t even care to bother taking a look at what you’re signing up for, you obviously don’t care about your privacy
I swear qbittorrent looks like gtk
he’s literally collecting device orientation data for whatever reason
Immutable arch based distro?
That’s so true when I’m trying to understand wtf the code is doing

What are they extremist about?
My brother was working for a US-based VPN fairly recently. Handled reporting bugs and doing QA testing with the software as well as customer feedback. In one of the internal tools, there was a “folder” that contained all the subpoenas from local law enforcement as well as from the FBI. If the gov’t asks for info about a specific user, you hand it to them on silver platter.
Vpns are not anonymous. If your government is not censoring the websites you visit, there’s no need to use a vpn. It’s not gonna make your any more private than you already are. Use tor if you care about privacy
this really makes nixOs so good because I can just make others do the hard work of configing it for me and use it 😂
Almost everyone before said that they’re not sure redhat’s violating any laws, Some say they’re clearly not violating law and some say they’re clearly violating GPL tos. Many articles and videos make it clear that they are not a lawyer and don’t understand if they’re breaking the law but they still hate the decision. If redhat is breaking the law, then it’s a different story
leaving a . so i know as well
