  • D2’s problem is different. To succeed critically they needed to produce The Taken King or The Witch Queen every content cycle, but there’s no way to do that except release only once a year — but they wanted to release every 3 months, so they made shitty DLCs that everyone mildly disliked and hyped them up so people actively disliked them on release.

Then the shitty mini DLCs began cannibalizing the dev, time and monetary budget from the main DLCs and it fell into a downward spiral.

  • I think sometimes some artists need a guide - I didn’t care much for Springsteen until someone lent me We Shall Overcome, based on folk working songs and mythology from Appalachians.

And then I’ve heard Tom Morello introduce a few of Springsteen’s songs with some socio-political context on his radio show and enjoyed them more with that insight.

relative to the galactic central point, per Eric Idle, the earth would be 200k/125 miles away in a single second, or relative to everything in the universe / background radiation, it would be 23,000 miles (37,000 km) away in a single second.

Preserving momentum in different directions and you quickly double it

Assuming an even rate of death, that’s just under 2 people dying per second currently, so you wouldn’t even be able to see the people who died before or after you if you retained human senses as a ghost.
