Might take a few hours/days for something to pop up, but I often don’t realize days that shows are “airing” or released, so I’m pleasantly surprised when it pops up as available.

Iirc for the tv remote to work all you need to do is make sure your CEC options are correct in settings. I use an app on my phone - easier to type searches in.
