1 year agoAs a plex user with the whole -arr stack, I mirror your sentiment. Though I can’t help but also think that a subscription service like this that actually promotes you to get out of your house and go somewhere exists in a different category.
Like yeah, it’s not another FuckYou+. The process of getting your loved ones together (or soloing it) and going somewhere, sneaking snacks in and viewing a movie in a better set up than you have at home could be worth it. Especially if tickets are somewhat reasonable.
For me personally, I don’t think there are enough new features that I care for but I can see how many may enjoy it
This. I’m pretty sure this is a result of the ad engine changes they made to chrome a few months ago. Manifest V2 is what enables uBlock Origin to be so effective iirc and they’re removing it in chrome in favor of Manifest V3.
Firefox on the other hand still supports V2.
