Never understood why this isn’t on every distro and DE ever. I want DSL with wobbly windows damnit.

Depending on your transcoding needs you might not even need it for that.
I have a proxbox with a R5 4600G even under extreme loads the stock cooler is fine. Honestly once prox is setup you don’t need a GPU. The video output of proxmox is just a terminal (Debian) so as long as things are running normally you can do everything through the web interface even without the gpu. I do highly recommend a second GPU (either a G series CPU or a cheap GPU) if you want to try proxmox GPU passthrough. I’ve done it and can say it is extremely difficult to get working reliably with just a single GPU.
I’ll freely admit to skimming a bit but yes proxmox can run trunas inside of it. Proxmox is powerful but might be a little frustrating to learn at first. For example by default proxmox expects to use the boot drive for itself and it’s not immediately clear how to change that to use that disk for other things.
The noctua dh-15 is overkill for that cpu btw unless you’re doing an overclock which I wouldn’t recommend for server use. What’s your plans for the 1060? If using proxmox you’ll want to get one of the “G” series AMD CPUs do that proxmox binds to the apu and then you should be able to do gpu passthrough on the 1060.
I’ve been using Kagi for 3 months now I think? And I’ve found it to be extremely useful for research…to a point, my only real issue is that after the first or so series of results it either doesn’t offer anything further or just no longer is showing relevant results to my search. Honestly though I’ve been very happy with Kagi and continue to pay the 10/month but if I do find something even better I’d happily switch. I’m not married to any particular search engine (well …least not to the extent of using Google services).
If you’re skeptical just give it a try I think they have a trial system in place.
I found this site from a blog recommending a few brands. They didn’t have what I wanted but the fact I was greeted by this was good enough to screenshot.
Clearly the universe decided you needed to listen to Freebird lol
Half the battle with headphones tends to be isolation. If you have decent sounding speakers but bad isolation you have mediocre at best headphones. Typically replacing the ear cups can be an option but adding speakers likely won’t yield additional quality. Unfortunately if the speakers that already are in the headphones aren’t up to snuff there won’t be a whole lot you can do. It’s important to make sure we’re talking about the actual headphones though and not the audio amplifier or the source audio.
M1 does not but the m1 pro does and looks fairly similar if you get the smallest size.
Generally you can sign up this person for many types of annoying mail by doing essentially just that
It was probably done to accommodate both mouse and keyboard users and touchscreen users.
Never had an issue with it though.
Also use EAC on Linux with wine.
While this could be malice it just as likely could be a complete error. I recently had to download a tool related to x11 on Firefox on windows and it also blocked the download as unsafe. Weirder still, it did this every time I started Firefox until I ended up ditching windows. No idea why.
There’s a channel “learnlinuxtv” on YouTube that is pretty good. I haven’t looked in a while but I watched their entire course on proxmox. They also create books.
3 cats with a litter robot 3 after 3 years. It’s great, easy to repair and parts are available. Save your money and buy a litter bot 3. The 4 has some improvements (it’s quieter) but has some new flaws and a pretty stiff price increase.
Also check out one man six cats on YouTube who has been doing a litter bot mega test of all kinds of brands/styles with his 7 (yes 7) cats.
Home assistant is probably your friend with hue.
I have the regular arkfeld and it’s been a solid ass flashlight. I mean it is always ready, takes a beating, shrugs off water (even underwater) worth every penny. I kinda want to get the one with a UV light instead of the laser I currently have.
I bought it specifically because of it’s shape and it lives in my pocket next to my Leatherman (which is why it has so much wear). Battery life is fantastic and using it even while swimming has caused 0 damage.
Can’t recommend putting it through a washing machine as the washing machine might suffer some serious damage.
Also people frequently assume it’s a knife which leads to some interesting conversations.
OLight Arkfield been my EDC for about a year now. Gotten me out of countless jams has modes for just about every use case including a super useful “moonlight mode” which is just bright enough to see in really dark places without being blinding. I’ve used it under water, magnetized to various objects, I use it often at my IT job it has been a real trooper. I’m not crazy about the charger for it because it’s a bit proprietary but it does kinda solve the waterproofing issue.
Dyslexia definitely made me wonder why she was going to jail. Seems she overcame whatever was holding her parent(s) back when seems at least a little uplifting.
