About 15 years ago I went on a trip from San Diego to NY. We were staying in a shitty Days Inn in some some town. We left our luggage in the rooms, and went out for the day, and I had left my iPod nano in there. When we came back that evening, my iPod was gone and my package of brand new boxers was missing a pair also. I assumed they hid the iPod in the rolled up boxers. We went down to complain to the front desk but they didn’t give a shit. Lessons were learned that day. My MILs partner bought gift cards for Rod Stewart who messaged him on FB.

Yea, for the most part I would have agreed with everyone else as well, he was just being nice. But it was a much less formal interview then normal, and at the end he made a point to add me on LinkedIn during the call because he wanted to stay in touch. That was the only thing that gave me enough confidence to ask about meeting again in a few weeks. I’m still focusing on applying elsewhere and not putting all eggs in one basket but I’m hopeful to have this at least in the backburner.

Sorry if someone already asked this, but do you have any tutorials or guides that you used and found helpful for starting out? I have some small experience with nginx and such, but I would definitely need to follow along with something that tells me what to do and what each part does in a infrastructure like you have haha
