That is where we are not seeing this the same way. You wanna make fake images, knock yourself out. I don’t care who they are. Make some of me for all I care.
If AI is so convincing, why would anyone care about nudes being controversial anymore? You can just assume it’s always fake. If everything is fake, why would anyone care?

71·2 months agoPosts should also be locked after a certain amount of time, like a year. It’s confusing to have new comments suddenly pop up on an old topic with people not realizing how old the original conversation was and saying stuff like “what do you mean xyz doesn’t have this feature? It definitely does because I’m looking right at it.” Yeah, that feature was added after the original conversation took place, then you found this old thread from a search engine (not yet a problem for Lemmy). Just let someone make a new post to keep the conversation relevant.

7·2 months agoPeople don’t like centralizing the Internet in a single service. There’s nothing wrong with the product. It works great and is much more secure than opening ports in your home network. This community is just more biased toward decentralization and privacy, which is a common reason for people to start self hosting.
I think wireguard can allow you to set up a similar external connection with some extra steps. This would remove Cloudflare from the loop.
