Oh, don’t worry, that’s only in urban schools.
(hint: urban is a dogwhistle for Black)

Wow, the PO Box analogy is the best, most simple way I’ve ever seen anyone explain 2FA. Thanks, I’m stealing that for when I need to explain it to my tech-illiterate family members for the umpteen millionth time :')
Art is catharsis. People who are “cheering” for it are doing so because it resonates with them, because seeing a jackass get ridiculed and made uncomfortable is a reversal of the usual state of things, not because they think it’s actually a good idea. The juxtaposition of a woman loudly narrating the exact thing that the guy is already wordlessly broadcasting is not to paint the action as anyone’s goal but to give those of us who feel terrorized by someone trying to show off how “badass” they are a bit of a laugh. It’s not a vote or endorsement for that kind of behavior; it’s more like an expression of schadenfreude or an acknowledgement of intrusive thoughts.
Ok, being that I am on the spectrum myself I really hope this doesn’t come across offensive: are you autistic?
Because that’s the only way I can fathom you taking this literally. It’s a comic. I can assure you the artist never did this in real life. They are using art as an expression to point out that this dude’s entire bearing - the way he carries himself, the fact that he chooses to aggressively display his firearm, the clothing that he wears - is accomplishing the exact same thing that the woman in the comic is doing. It is intended to obnoxious, as it is pointing out that he is obnoxious for portraying himself that way.
Metaphor, allegory, art, my friend. It’s not literal.
Nope. Plenty of places in the midwest only carry unsweet and “flavored”, not regular sweet tea. The flavor is usually extra sweet fruit flavored syrup like raspberry or peach.
Barefoot shoes for life! I have switched entirely to barefoot shoes - or at least, foot-shaped and zero drop, even if the sole is thicker - and my feet have never been happier.
Some of my favorite brands:
LEMS - good hiking shoes. Nice wide toe box, decently lightweight, don’t look too goofy.
Peerko - good all-around. Lots of looks, some casual, some nicer. Definitely avoiding the crunchy outdoor hobo and/or silly clown shoes look.
Designed by Anya - Anya was a barefoot enthusiast who eventually made her own line, with loafers and boots. Cute and comfy femme barefoot shoes.
Vivobarefoot - used to be a little on the crunchy outdoor hobo side, but some of their more recent looks have stepped up their game nicely. I really like their loafers.
Regarding difficulty - on lower difficulties it’ll take longer to earn up the medals (though the major order rewards definitely help there) but I actually think it’s faster to farm super credits on the easiest 3 difficulties.
Fascists have no culture of their own except violence, they have to steal everyone else’s.
Just a humble midwestern tea snob 😆
My mom was into True Blood for a little bit when it first came out, probably because she was trying to fill a Buffy-shaped hole in her entertainment and TB was close enough, lol. She bought me the first novel for Christmas one year and I very quickly donated it, it was so fucking bad. She asked me if she could borrow it, got mad when I told her I’d donated it already, and then sad when I told her it would ruin her enjoyment of the show by being complete and utter trash xD
Oh, interesting! I may have to give the series a shot, then - I pretty much hate-read the books, hoping at first that he would get better and then later hoping that someone would just fucking kill him lol
Depends entirely on the tea, but, if black: at home it’s usually hot, with a half to a full teaspoon of raw sugar and a splash of milk. At work it’s usually just hot and straight, no sugar or milk. If green: hot, sometimes honey and lemon, usually just straight. If herbal: hot or chilled depending on the temp outside, no sugar if hot, a bit of sugar if chilled.
I drink a lot of fuckin tea.
Creative entrepreneur. Center screen is for whatever I’m currently working on, be that product design, our website, emailing clients or suppliers, research, whatever. Right screen will have relevant reference material for whatever is on the center screen. Left screen is for music controls/discord, but it’s also a drawing tablet for any time I need to drop the mouse and start hand-drawing for design work, at which point the music and chat move to the right screen.
Amalfi, Italy. My great grandpa was born there, though he immigrated with his family to the US pretty young.
Order online! TenRen Teas has the best tea, imo, while Adagio has mid to high quality at a decent price and a wide variety of types and flavors.
🤷🏻♀️ Needlessly aggressive but ok. I use my electric kettle once a day minimum and I use it for things other than tea as well. My husband uses it for his French press coffee, we use it for hot choccy or ramen or even rice sometimes. It’s just an easier way to heat up water to specific temperatures, no elitism here.
… No? 212° F water is not the same thing as 170°F for a more delicate tea. And, ok, you could let it cool down before adding the tea, but are you going to put a thermometer in it? How will you know when it’s the right temperature? Why not just… get it to the right temperature the first time?
Get an electric kettle. Tea should be brewed at an appropriate temperature for its style, and microwaving the water is inaccurate. Electric kettle will get you the right temp every time nearly as fast.
As a massive tea drinker… I don’t think I’ve ever seen PG Tips or YG in the grocery store. I have to order them online. The best we get in store near me is Bigelow and Tazo, both of which are pretty mid.
Please listen to this dude
Piss flavored dick is disgusting, as I learned from experience with an ex 🤮
