Have you played Path of Exile? That’s the only one I could think of. I think their monetization is very fair.

At least the Blizzard RTS community seems to be pretty optimistic to me.
And Frost Giant seemed to be aware that their niche is made up of competitive RTS gamers that hate, hate, hate pay to win.

I’ve never ever bought paid features to F2P games. If they put a paywall or annoying pay-gates up I simply stop playing. I don’t mind paying an upfront cost for them.
It’s unfortunate that Stormgate won’t be seeing my money… I think I’d get really get hooked into it at release because I love Starcraft. Maybe they don’t care about me because they’ll be fishing for whales of course.
