  • Yes. It is too late. This was the inevitable outcome. Sooner or later.

Dems here are like UK Labor. They’re a right wing party who occasionally cosplays as a left leaning one when they need to. They stand as the bullwark against any form of left wing populism. And they’ve done their job to the letter.

Our economy is almost entirely debt driven financialization and gambling. There is another subprime mortgage crisis brewing. Exactly the same as the one in '08, except way bigger. And our economy is far more precarious than it was then.

  • Breathtakingly fucked. Wannabe dictator with a mandate from the dumbest mfers alive.

But take heart. The battle for the US is now a fight between the old guard Reaganite Republicans and the out&out Fascists. For the next 4 years at least the Dems are a complete non-factor. I hope the DNC is proud of their accomplishment.

All the worst possible things that could happen are now not just on the table but incredibly likely.

And thus began the second dark age. In the 21st century, the killing of the internet famous squirrel P’Nut and their partner Fred triggered a chain of events that ceased scientific progress globally. Environmental stewardship gave way to rampant consumption and dirty industry. Women once again became subjugated to property and lost all human rights. Logic and reason was forgotten and replaced with conspiracy theories and superstition. Over the next few centuries tribalism and the decay of modern society played out against the backdrop of now unstoppable climate change, which was largely attributed to superstitious causes by small groups of devolved humans living in filth amongst the ruins of a once great civilization. ~ Narrated by Ron Pearlman

  • Had Starfield been contained to like a dozen star systems with way denser planets it probably would have done better. Its just too damn big. And BGS is scared to death to go for what everyone really cares about, the species that built The Armillary. Had they focused on that I’d still be locked in. I like the game. But its too big. They went all the way in on the “kill, loot, return” playstyle and neglected everyone else. I never cared about that shit. I hated it in F4. Give me lore, story, details, actual faction choices that actually matter.

My very first playthrough of Fallout 4 I sided with The Institute because I had plans to take over and free the synths. Imagine my fuckin’ surprise when the credits rolled. They lost the plot long ago. And if they don’t have a “come to jesus” moment and figure that shit out then ES6 might be their last game. Big Daddy Microsoft isn’t gonna keep humoring Todd and Emil. They want their goddamn money back and a cargo ship more as interest.
