If WB really wanted to tank their game division, they would do what they did with movies and start cancelling almost finished projects for a tax write off

Not wanting to work in a crowded home has nothing to do with disliking your family. Kids are loud. They run around the house. They watch TV with the volume set too high. They have excited calls with their friends. Many home builders skimp on noise insulation for interior walls.
I am a little disgusted by this because now both major browser engines are being developed by an advertising company, creating more incentives for future web technologies that strengthen tracking and undermine ad blocking.
From what I understand, this is an anonymized targeted ad company. In other words, ads are still targeted to the individual user, it is just harder for the advertiser to track (or profile) an individual user. Are there any companies still doing untargeted ads, ads where the advertiser might pick what site their ad goes on but cannot target a specific user demographic?
Tie more positive things to the federal minimum wage, for example tax brackets and retirement fund contribution limits. They go up every single year, so the government will either have to keep raising the minimum wage or go on the record to justify why the ratio is wrong.
Ok, but why? If I want news, I will look at a news site. I want tweets and videos, I almost always want content from the creators that I subscribe to.
The supply lines were Creeking when people tried to play? Oh no. Why is that bad?
That makes sense. Sorry, I grew up in a school system where recess stops after the fifth grade.
Also, you mentioned that lack of coat was a problem for lunch? I assume that means that your cafeteria only had outdoor seating. How did that work when it was raining or very windy?
Maybe it is because I am used to a colder climate, but how did you come to school without outerwear? Did your parents not notice the temperature in the morning and put a jacket on you?
Douglas Adams is undoubtedly one of the greatest writers of the period.
He is known for light, surrealistic science fiction comedy, not a genre generally considered “high art” but his mastery of language is superb. He is a master of analogies in a way that is both funny but also makes the reader think about the roles and conventions of symbolism in language.
Sorry to be a contrarian, but sometimes a change in title is a reward in itself, especially if it does not involve a change in job responsibility. In some large corporations, there are pay ranges that are determined by your title. It could be that you are on the higher end of the pay range for your existing role, so it is hard for your supervisor to justify why you should be getting more money. By giving you a dry promotion, it becomes easier to give you a fat raise during the compensation review season. At many companies, there is a certain time of the year to give people promotions and then later on in the year to give raises.
That is because McDonald’s offers employee health insurance for only $10/pay period… They do offer that insurance, right?
If it is not clear, I very much doubt that they offer such cheap health insurance (and that is assuming that they don’t have a policy in place that forbids workers from being scheduled for more than 29 hours per week per franchise so they can be classified as “part time” at each location and not offered health benefits).
The Switch seems to still be selling fairly well, so there is not yet urgency to move on to the next console. Having said that, I imagine it will take a while to roll out that console, even if they are already manufacturing them in bulk (though if that was the case, I would have expected to see some more leaks).
It is a common term. I am not sure why it is used. Possibly because the consoles were not sold to end users but shipped to retailers. Some (small portion) is sitting on store shelves.
I tried it for an hour and it seems like a super chill MMO. There were definitely issues. The camera gets caught on large objects when you try to place them and camera shake needs a bit of tuning. Playing in portable mode, there was some object pop-in, cinematics looked rough, and it was hard to differentiate the icons for left and right stick in tutorials.
More importantly, starting out, the game did not look bad. There is a very pleasant core loop of farming, gathering, and hunting. There were no live service login rewards. The real money store seems to only have cosmetic items.

YouTube pays the uploader, who double promises that they totally have the the right to the song.
Pokemon Pinball is better.
Will that be confusing? Nintendo released the Game Boy Micro (only plays Game Boy Advance cartridges) after the DS (DS and GBA cartridges). I don’t think too many people were confused.
To avoid confusion, Nintendo should name their next system something other than Switch 2, Switch Next, or something else with Switch in the name. Then again, I cannot understand the Xbox naming convention is a bit nonsense but no one is out rioting in the streets.
That 63 year average lifespan is a bit misleading since, I assume, it is just the mean age at death. It includes infants who die in the delivery room and people who die of untreatable diseases during childhood. It would be more accurate to put the average lifespan of people who made it to adulthood (since they are the only ones who contribute to social security).
Water is best served at a bit below room temperature (maybe 50° F/10° C). I don’t want my teeth hurting and my throat frozen. Also, waiters should be good around and refilling water glasses, not dropping off my food and GTFO until I am done eating.
If they sell you pay $5 for the drug and the next person in line pays $2k for the same drug, they are making $1k per patient. They are also writing off the $3k that they could be charging you as a charitable contribution, so they don’t have to pay taxes on the income. They hope that if they keep you alive, some day you will make enough money to pay full retail price.
