A lot of Ys games. Certain Metal Gear games in a way have NG+ with carryover stuff.

More games need a solid NG+ that feels fun and rewarding.

It’s nice to see, but just some initial fooling around leaves more to be desired. There’s basic ease of use things that other recording systems have had for years that it seems to lack. Such as a quick and easy way to just say “save the last x minutes.”

No, you can either record far more than necessary and drop pins for later, or you can specify when to start and stop (as if you know when somethings coming up), or apparently grab only the last 10 seconds in a quick clip.

I prefer to save recent funny things, but sometimes they are varying time lengths. So it’s a tad disappointing, but it’s pretty cool for a start.

Also it’s already crashed my Steam Deck once within like 10 minutes of fooling around with it.

I deleted them all back around 2015. Only use this, and not seriously.

I remember it when I was a kid. I also remember some people gave put more or less candy depending on how good your costume was. Felt incredibly judged in public. Hated Halloween for so many reasons.

The team that does their Steam ports just got done releasing Ys X. I suspect it’s a timing issue and it’ll just come later, but who knows. I’ll be watching for a Steam version.

You’ll get a lot further when you realize hiring managers also are lost and most listings are bullshit. And I mean they probably don’t even intend for it to be bullshit but that’s what corporatizing everything results in. Apply to stuff you only mostly fit. Don’t look for complete fit or ability to check every box. So many interviews and jobs wind up not being exactly as advertised. If you read it as literal, you’ll ace out tons of potential jobs that might have been just fine for you.

I have also had some success through my career emphasizing (with actual stories) how I know how to learn from others and on my own. So it’s okay that I don’t know every little thing, and then point to my past examples of adapting to unknown or unclear situations where I had to learn on the job.

Also people are very impressed by factual stories. Numbers, or specific details, etc. that give them the impression you aren’t lying. Tell about times when you actually did a thing. Not how you are able to, but give an example of a problem and how you overcame. Even from school projects, team projects, thesis work. Anything.

I have similar issues with music and video games. I almost always love the most hated albums or games in a series based on the loudest commentary online. I also find the most popular entry to be kind of meh. I think average people have boring taste or just follow a crowd or something.
