Looks like their keeping to the original aesthetic, but with modern graphics. That’s cool. They even kept the same Frank style vs DR4 (or the weird ass DR2 model). Curious what the gameplay will look like.

Not OP, but just a boiler plate response would be fine for me. “Sorry [insert name here]. You are no longer being considered for this position. (Optional) Good luck on other applications”. Could even have it set up to sends those out automatically.
Pretty sure I just got banned from c/vegan because I downvoted “wrong”. Haven’t interacted in any other way, so not sure what else it could be. Also recently got banned from c/imageai for downvoting “too much”? This is a weird trend that seems like a bad path for Lemmy to go down if it’s starting to become the norm.
*Also, what’s up with not being able to block a community you’re banned from? They don’t want you there but you’re forced to view their content? That makes no sense.
A “Scarlet P” as it were isn’t defensible, but a name-only system seems ripe for abuse. Unless the employee can keep track of every student, all it takes is a greedy and/or cruel student to use someone else’s name and they don’t get a lunch that day.
Best method, imo, is free lunch for every student. No fuss, no muss. That children are held responsible for the economic welfare of their family (and there are people fighting to keep it that way) is atrocious. Just feed the children, easy as.
I feel for these studios getting treated like crap. With these shutdowns from corps like MS and Embracer, I can only hope that indie devs learn the hard lessons taught here that conglomerates can never be trusted to operate in the interest of their subsidiaries. All buyouts are to these corps is the addition of “assets” to their spreadsheet, to be ditched the moment it’s more convenient than keeping them around.
They can’t even properly check their copy on critical infrastructure. Top notch work over there, top to bottom.
I’m not blaming employees here, but if GS is specifically marketing older games, they should be taking measures to ensure authenticity. Not that I think anyone should trust GS at this point. Still good to hold them accountable.
The pauses are there because it’s not a “laugh track”, it’s a live audience. That’s not to say it’s 100% genuine laughter, but they’re pausing so the laughter doesn’t bury the dialogue.
Nobody says they “built a trailer”. Created, edited, made, maybe even “put together”. But not “built”. It technically works, but it’s still wrong.
*Thinking about it more, I’d bet the program mixed up the word for house trailer or something else physical. Build/built would track better for that.
“Built”? Did an LLM “build” their title, too?
They’ve literally already released sequels, with another coming in September.
This is your regular reminder that you are a brain thing piloting a bone mech that’s covered in flesh.
“Didn’t forget”? They never stopped.
I’m not arguing one way or another
You literally were.
Lol, “insufferable”. News flash - there’s no “reason” to care about anything. Learn to find enjoyment in life where you can. You don’t get a reward for choosing to be miserable the whole time.
Cake Day is from birthdays, mate. You know? That annual celebration of creation where there’s usually cake?
Stop letting spez live in your head and just enjoy where you’re at.
“Expedite”, as if the company doesn’t have direct control of it’s own systems. What a load of bull.
