I’m not holding my breath but this could be a huge turning point for the Democratic party where they may finally follow the populism playbook that Bernie started in 2016.

I think what they are trying to ask is why did all the DNC undermining still stop people from voting Bernie. The point being that it came off that he was so popular that even DNC with all their undermining shouldn’t have gotten in the way of him winning the nomination.
Fair point. I should not have grouped Progressives with Liberals. But in the current US political landscape, Liberals tend to move policy forward even if they are only tiny incremental changes.
This makes a lot of sense actually. Conservative values represent upholding the status quo and at this exact moment that is how society works. So in the moment they see society following their values which makes them happy.
Progressives and Liberals are programmatic and critical of society and see things that could be better. That inherently makes you less happy with what’s going on around you since you can imagine a better world.
Yes ignorance is indeed bliss when it comes to being conservative.
Yeah it’s a bit of a head scratcher
Cable is dying and they will do whatever it takes to keep it afloat until the last second
How about the fact that baby Metroid was so important it still comes up all the way into Metroid 5.
We can only hope
What’s really interesting is to look at the time scale when each our pets were first domesticated. Dogs domestication happened between 20,000 and 40,000 years ago, while the cat started becoming domesticted only 4000 years ago. Pretty crazy to think how much of a difference their is in the time it took each of them to become adaptive to human society. Makes you wonder what house cats will be like given the time frame dogs have had.
I want to better understand this because the sky is clearly a specific color that has been there since the beginning.
How did proto humans not look up at the sky and considered in their feeble brains, “everything above the ground is this very unique color. It’s different from the ground, and the plants.”
I get that sea and lakes really don’t look blue. But did they look up and not see some shade of blue on a clear day?
The US in nutshell here
Thanks for the list. I’ve been playing indie games for about 15 years and the retro inspiration has always been the best part about them. Graphics never mattered and it meant that gameplay was put first, just like the old days.
The naked party at the end was perfect lol
Dude millennials were sporting the stach too
Drug is a hell of a drug
Not gonna lie I have a few of these weird ones. My Dad bought them for us as kids, but deep down I bet he wanted them himself haha
Funny you should mention that. I picked up the Sennheiser HD6XX. Very good so far.
Headphones! I’ve recently learned that headphones are the most cost effective way to enjoy the audiophile experience. They even make headphone specific amplifiers. You could probably spend around 300 dollars on a good headphone set up that would cost you in the 1000’s speakers-wise.
And honestly I’m surprised it took me this long to realize just how awesome musoc sounds in them, all while not pissing off wife with speakers blaring in the basement.
I hope the streamin bubble will pop soon and we will have fewer but higher quality shows.
Still kinda sucks that the Dems lost popularity. I wonder if it would have been different if Biden was on ticket.
