Sounds like too many landlords, not too many immigrants.
you’re high on mushrooms in the Viking age, the gods are everywhere
Sounds like too many landlords, not too many immigrants.
Cancel subscriptions when you sign up, fuck auto renewals and save some money if there’s a gap before the next time you need or use the service, and gives you a chance to consider if it’s worth the money or ethical concerns when manually renewing subs.
With layoffs happening in an election year I am a going to be a bit suspicious that executives are colluding to try to lower employment rates to influence voters to vote Republican so their millionaire executives and billion dollar corps can get lower taxes and less regulation. We’ll see if they start rehiring again for 2025 after the election is over.
Their veg options are some of the better ones in fast food if they haven’t jacked up their prices around you. Potato taco, cheese quesadilla, bean and rice burrito are all good enough options for fast food
I use an alarm captcha, simple math problems so I can’t accidentally dismiss the alarm instead of snooze. I also keep a similar sleep schedule throughout the week so I’m sometimes already awake a little before the alarm and I have an alarm to remind me when to go to bed.
We judge others more harshly than ourselves or our friends and family, it’s often a tribal artifact of the environment our species grew up and evolved in through its infancy that has in part informed our acceptable behaviors as a social species who relies on groups for survival (justice, altruism, fairness, social contract, etc).
Sometimes it’s hyperbole, sometimes it’s incorrectly treating people different than ourselves as less than instead of different to, and sometimes someone violates common morality so abjectly that capital punishment is a popular acceptable outcome.
They could put you in the sun for several hours with no shade, ice, or water then pretend it wasn’t manslaughter when you die from heat exposure at 27
This assumes all of the data fed into the model is accurate and not including noise like misinformation
Similar to your experience, I’ve seen several large governments and organizations mishandle or mismanage user data by accident or on purpose many times with little or no recompense. If nobody can do it right they should either make it all publicly transparent for everyone or not store it at all.
Misinformation, not using accounts or accounts with incorrect information, multiple accounts, etc counter ops seem prudent at this point as the information system and monitoring apparatus of some of the most powerful governments and corporations in human history remains largely unchecked.
Privacy is an important right to protect and value because of the damage that can and will be done when groups hold personal information (financial, medical, behavior patterns, etc) and either sell it without explicit consent or leak it because they have no expectation of risk or loss if they don’t protect it.

Realized pre orders were a scam in 99 when I pre-ordered ff8 from Toys r us and when I went to pick it up they told me they don’t have any copies left
The games are a bit buggy but pillars of eternity and dead fire have awesome stories and characters. Then classic crpgs like bg2, planescape torment. And the reboot tides of numenera.
It keeps my joints nice and slippery
I have a few meditations but usually hobbies like playing video games for a bit or reading or practicing/playing music can provide a similar effect.
Looks just as silly to me as pantaloons or suits or fedoras
EverQuest, playing a 3d online fantasy game with some sim elements with other people, was something very new and felt like the future. Limiting fast travel to specific places and classes made the world feel huge. Stumbling across the weird stuff like giant chess boards or a whole underwater dungeon made it feel unique.
What behaviors of Larry Ellison is it going to help change? Hoarding wealth to the detriment of society? Attacking the tech sector with their army of lawyers? AI monitoring billionaires sounds strange, but I’m willing to see how it goes.
